A&M pretty much carries around an inferiority complex constantly.. but they will say that they hate LSU for backing out of a contract once TAMU started beating LSU.. which no one will deny, while good business for the program, was still pretty shitty on LSU's part..

It has to do with the 'Texas image complex' vs it's neighbor to the east. aggs are the more hard core of the texass is 'all that' crowd and since their football program has fallen into meaningless mediocrity with a zero sum national rep they have taken the hatred/jealousy thing (for winnners like LSU and UT) to a new level. What would you expect from folks who would build a library for george bush's comic book collection?

LSU and UF have the resumes.
Everybody else is just whining.
The Swamp is a scary place to play, with all that jorty greatness and it's the only program that can match LSU player for player 85 deep.
Plus Tebow might be the biggest winner of his generation and he is a pretty good human being.
Plus we have played UF every year since time began without any real ugliness between the fan bases.
So here's to us ruining your season in the SEC championship game this year...
Everybody else is just whining.

You haven't spent much time in the Florida Panhandle, have you? It's just a southern extension of Alabama and Georgia. Not really the "real" Florida until you get to Orlando. Just about everything above Orlando is classic redneck South. The great beaches here are the saving grace. It's Neanderneck country as soon as you move north away from the white sand and clear blue-green water.....

I liked Florida even when we sucked. When we upset them in 1997, the UF fans I encountered all pretty much said, “we talk tons of trash, but you won. You get to dish it.” No excuses or anything. And I enjoyed going to the Swamp.
I’ve got nothing bad to say about Florida other than the fact they are really good and curb-stomped us last year.

Insofar as TAM goes, it's common knowledge that LSU owns as much of Houston as TAM does; in fact, we pick off most of Houston's finest because we know (and most Houstonians know) what Nerds (capital N intended) that the majority of TAM fans are - frankly, aside from enjoying them upset the Horns and Sooners occasionally, they are simply inconsequential these days.

A&M recruits against us and is the closest Big 12 school to BR. For the last 10 yrs or so, we have been taking 4 and 5 star recruits from their recruiting grounds (around Houston), while they have basically been taking the 3 star guys. Also, Houston has tons on LSU people and two very large LSU alumni chapters. See almost as much LSU gear on here as A&M and it's just an hour and a half drive away. Lastly, we used to play them every year and when we stopped the series, they called foul. In football, A&M is basically, losers. So they hate LSU, TEXAS and OKLAHOMA (IMHO because we are winners). I spent my freshman year at A&M before transferring to LSU and I can tell you, most of the students HATE LSU. Bunch of cry-babies.

3) "Its Great to be a Florida Gator" Cheer. its not even a cheer. Its a dumb fricking song.
Other than that, i think UF is ok in my book. And I hope to beat them by several points this fall.

I respect UF athletics because they are the only other SEC school that competes well in all sports. Both UF and LSU have finished in the top 10 in the Directors Cup the last 2 years. By the way, LSU is the only SEC team to have at least 10 SEC titles in football, basketball, and baseball.

I have always respected UF as they have been the only team since the Dinardo era to pretty much dominate us year in and year out(give or take a few games)

thanks man...I can't say that has been my experience, though....in '07 when the two teams played at LSU, I saw Florida fans treated pretty badly....I was actually embarrassed by the shite a couple of times....thanks for the kind words, though....I look forward to this year's game....
