Good article.
I must admit I thought we had no chance at UGA and I was wrong. I am pleasantly surprised at the outcome, though the lingering doubts about the OL and lack of pass rush still exist. One thing for sure is that this team is going to give me a heart attack before the end of the year.

Now we know why Shepard doesn't play more.
I think he is extremely talented but certainly raw.

Can't quote a post on this phone, so in reference to the drive I mentioned: Georgia scored on an 18-play, 60-yard drive. An 18-play drive is rare. An 18-play drive over such a relatively short distance? Almost impossible. We may never witness another.

All of us who focused more on the flaws than on the results: How many of us are living up to our potential? I asked myself that after the game.
I had no comment.

I wonder what kind of speech Tebow will give atfer losing to LSU?

quote:
The offense without a clear identity
There's your problem.
The offense is trying to do too many things. Its the ole "good at many things, master of none." Option, dual QB, pass heavy, run heavy... all this confusion leads to stalls and lack of fluidness. Hell we can't even run the "Shep" package without calling a damn timeout. One thing is working, and we start trying to do something completely different. We get down 1 point and start throwing the ball like we are down 17.
Pick a trade, and master it LSU. You have the talent, but you are spreading it too thin looking for an identity.

"Decided to join this to congratulate Carl on a fine piece of journalism. As he well points out, there was little reason to expect LSU to end this three game stretch beginning with the Dawgs as anything more than a middle of the road SEC team. This is a problem with expectations. The Messin with Sasquatch analogy is brilliant; was unexpected and therefore better appreciated.
Carl has raised good questions about a team seemingly content to live on its reputation and play with its toys. The issue of how far all of us fail daily to live up to our potential is perhaps more timely in context of discovery of the world’s oldest human.
We can continue to label ourselves as Hatters or Haters or whatever. One thing we should all agree on is the character of any team is only that of its leader. Win, lose or draw, when the heat is on Miles displays what Saban will never have.
The final example of political correctness is the "Celebration" penalty. Someone had to stay up late to come up with this one. When Charles Scott crossed the back of the end zone, he dropped the ball, pounded his chest and raised his arms in happiness and praise. What better could he have done? Someone had to stay up late for that one. But when you think about it this type ignorance seems to be behind most decisions being made now. Let's stop this insanity and let boys be boys.
Through sheer excitement, LSU is becoming America’s team. A reader attributes it to "impact" another great concept for winners. My word is "efficacious", power to impact/change a result, to make a situation better. When we all work and think together, this is better than teamwork. It is what champions are made of. Let us hope our good fans can be as efficacious as our Fightin’ Tigahs. Always the best, Rob Lowther

'His fans keep laughing at their guy and with him at the same time'
no better press conference in the world than the hatter; he says too much beautifully and confusingly with a smile. hope rodriguez keeps winning in meechigan ! i'd hate to lose this guy to his 'home country' if he ever does think about going back. hope he doesn't make the same mistake saban made !
go tigers
