This one will continue to get torched under these 2 DCs.

LSU is the reigning MNC champ. You DO NOT experiment on your hiring of a DC. LSU doesn't need to experiment. They can pretty much cherry pick some of the best proven DCs in the country. There are some sharp DCs that would kill to use their schemes with LSU's talent.

But, that ain't happening anytime soon, so just hope for the best for this year.

Its quite clear that Peveto and Mallory need to be shown the door.

What an absolute disaster at DC

You mean Will Muschamp's Defense.

Dude, Muschamp is running Saban's defense. Mschamp was like 30 when he coached under Saban.......ridiculous that our defense was Muschamp's.

After seeing last night and watching Bama all season, I have to say I really miss that style of our defense. Long gone are the days we use to be dominant and aggressive.
What Saban teaches is team and individual discipline, intensity, and leadership. It makes the players rise to levels better than they are, and higher than they otherwise would. This is what I miss now at LSU. I like Miles, but he's not doing that with the Tigers. And he's seemingly not noticing that his co-DCs are doing this even less. But the fans are seeing it, and it ain't pretty or over yet until some significant changes happen and hard choices are made.

Bunch of Saban lovers here, get over it, he is gone and is NOT coming back

Since when does being critical of this year's defensive coaching = a Saban love fest? God forbid one chooses not to drink the cool aid...you're immediately labeled a ranter, Negatiger, etc...

Miles had a choice when Pelini left - promote from within or hire a new coordinator from the outside. His choice by all appearances was not a good one. The $$$ and talent was there and remains to attract a top notch replacement.

The Mr. Hat, get busy and find us a good DC whose name is neither Mallory nor Peveto.

By the end of the year, Saban's 2003-4 defense was one of the best ever in college football. They also got better and stronger as the year progressed, unlike last year's defense which got worse as the year went on. That 2003-4 defense just overwhelmed every offense they faced. You have to admit that Saban is a defensive genius.

I like Miles better than Saban for a host of reasons, but Miles better find a good DC, or he will let the program slip below it's current elite status. We don't want another DiNardo repeat.
