First thing...RP is gone. Forget what he MIGHT would have done.

Hatch appears to be the man and from what I've seen/read, agree. After last season, if you don't trust our coaches, you never will.

As for Lee...he's missed a lot of practice so it's going to be difficult for him to overtake Hatch from the sideline.

Maybe you read that EVERYBODY has reported that he is the starter. way to put 2 and 2 together, buddy.

Where have I shown a lack of trust in our coaches?

Link?

He has yet to show anyone that he has the ability to overtake Hatch. Based on what we are hearing from camp, Jefferson could probably end up ahead of Lee at some point this year.

I'm not “on board” until after Auburn...that does not mean that I don't support him 100%...I do!

But, just because he can run the offense for 3 games vs. cream-puff opponents in Tiger Stadium with the home field advantage and the talent that surrounds him proves nothing.

Therefore, I reserve my opinion of Hatch until after Auburn. Then and only then, will we know whether Hatch is a "player" and leader or not!

The kid was in the Elite 11. A 4 star said to have all the tools to get the job done, and he's just thrown to the side by fans for the second coming of JRuss which JJ is not.

Gotta do a better job of keeping up with the thread, the 4 star comment was in reference to Lee.

so did Jamie Howard and Booty. Actually they were probably better out of HS.

I never said he was the second coming of Jamarcus Russell. I typically frown on comparisons like that, since all players are different unique beings.

I just think that the only people that are assuming that Lee is the answer. . .are basing it more off of his star rating than his performance in camp.

Some peole are strangely invested and totally commited to the idea that Lee is just "head and shoulders" above Hatch and Jeff, whereas the players and coaches have made no such insinuation.

My take on the situation?

They are all a push, but Hatch gets the nod thanks to seniority and maturity.

If my take is accurate, there is zero reason to think that Lee will ever be a starter at LSU. Because, if they are all a push, JJ is more likely to pass Hatch than is Lee.

looks like that is the case.

but to be honest. im going to root like crazy for hatch this year. but when Shepard comes in next year, i want him to start as a true freshman. he's got to much talent to hold back

it will be interesting to see if Shep can beat out Jeff next year. Shep at WR with JJ throwing to him is still drool-worthy.
