Has there been any word on Andre Anthony?

His Twitter didn’t make it sound like it was going to be a good outcome but he was able to get off the field and into the locker room with just a slight limp. Hoping for the best but this sure feels like a season ender. At least he got to score a TD on his last time in a Tigers uniform but he’s a major loss for us as he was really coming into his own. His draft stock could have skyrocketed, I hate it for that guy he did things the right way and then had to go out like this.

I dont even think he was supposed to get a MRI until sometime today.

I agree. He was the unquestioned leader of the entire team, this is a big blow.

People keep mentioning this but a lot of people with ligament tears can walk with just a slight limp

I was sitting with a very experienced Sports Medicine guy
He immediately said "MCL" and then confirmed his suspicions watching a replay.
It was a "no contact knee injury" which typically does not bode well for ACL's or MCL's
He said MCL was his best guess because AA was not trying to turn or pivot when his knee gave way.
ALSO FRICK THE CMU LINEMAN WHO WATCHED ANDRE GO DOWN GRABBING HIS KNEE. He paused for 2 seconds then fell on top of Andre with all his weight.

Torn ACL. I am close to him. Big loss for us and tough on this great kid. Spoke with him this morning.

Its still too swollen. Just talked to somebody close and hes walking around on it but that doesnt mean anything until he gets that MRI

O will let us know today. Got an MRI yesterday, results came in last night.

I literally just hung up with my source and its as close as you can get to Andre. I was just told its too swollen so idk.... If BigNick is close to Andre maybe he has a better idea but I wouldnt get on here and feed yall bullshite.
