Not surprised the #2 overall pick had a better career early on
where they were drafted is irrelevant to how good they actually are and have been. But you're ight, it's not surprising Bregman has been and is a better baseball player than Lemahieu.

Yeah, except DJ is 35 now.
exactly...

You think they only cheated at home?

Bregman and Nola are on potential Hall of Fame paths
Not even close. Love both those guys but Cooperstown not in their cards at present.
These guys aren’t in Omar Vizquel, Jimmy Rollins, Nomar Garciaparra, Miguel Tejada.
It’s the best of the best that get in and Bregman just isn’t in that category yet.

Don’t know why people on an LSU board keep trying to put down the best lsu player in the MLB
They want him to be better, DJ is more likable and lsu doesn’t win the 09 CWS without him.

bingo
People let their feelings get in the way of logic far too much when comparing players

Nope one of the best ever to come through LSU.
The longevity of his MLB career is amazing

Bregman's stats took a nosedive after they stopped cheating.

DJ's took a nosedive once he got paid by the Yankees

You think they cheated more on the road?
Bregman's home numbers in 2019 are pretty on par for what his home numbers have been since. So please, explain to me why his road numbers were so much better in 2019. Has to be they just cheated better on the road right?
...Or maybe Bregman just had a really good year and a half run and has come back down to the mean. Remember when Chris Davis had an amazing 3 year run then couldn't hit his weight and was out of baseball? Must have been banging on trashcans too

Not a myth.
His teams’ position players were undersized.

More like he hit his kid 30s.

His career took a nosedive at 31 (which coincided with his first big contract). That's not his mid 30s. He's in his mid 30s now. He's comparatively hit like shite for 3 years now.

He won a batting title the year he turned 32.

Yea in a 50 game regular season.
Again, not hating but it's definitely worth noting
