I think the anonymity of the internet allows people to be bullies without being held accountable for their rudeness.
They would never talk to you that way face-to-face.
With the ease of tracking people's actions on the internet, one should never write or display anything that they would not be willing to print out and post on the front door of their home.
It would be nice for newbies to read the more intelligent posts to know what to look for over the coming years and to develop a history with LSU sports. Unfortunately, with some of the attitudes (and pictures) on this board, I can not recommend this site to young people.
There are a lot of lurkers and drive-by readers. A topic you may have seen several times over the last few months may be a new (and interesting) posting to the new people. If it is a bad posting it will die a natural death.
There are a lot of people on this board who are very informative and extremely funny. Thank you for the many hours of pleasurable reading!

Too many college kids who think & brag that it's cool to be drunk all the time, & that same mentality speaks for those who openly state that they prefer to party & get drunk at tailgates instead of going to the games. Yet they are the first to rant & bitch about something they have very little actual knowledge about, be it coaching in general, calling plays, etc.

quote:Yep I see the truth in your statement. The 65 year olds are the ones who invented the internet. Designed the microchips, the computers, the programming lanquages. Set up the World Wide Web. They were the first users who worked out all the bugs so that you now have your appliances that almost always work and rarely have any problems.
And it is the 65 year olds who don't know enough about the internet and don't care for the young whippersnappers being smartasses.
Whereas you all knowing young guys can twitter and have Facebook pages. Why you can even download songs to your phones. I'm in awe!
