Actually this was pretty close to his reaction. He then pointed out that the #1 seed is actually a curse since the #1 seed hasn't won the CWS since the late 90's.

I like our draw , and could care less what number we are ranked as long as we have an easier path to Omaha. But what does this statement mean? The baseball nerds are all circled up.... I was a bit confused at the 4 seed, quite certain our coach and players were too.

No, what it means is that we have fans who follow LSU football, and then only jump on the baseball or basketball bandwagon when its going good heading into the postseason

I guess that just confuses the shite out me. Neither myself or anyone that I know bandwagons Lsu in any sport. We support everything Lsu. How is it possible to bandwagon the baseball team anyway. They have had equal or more success than the football program to begin with. Seems like empty logic to me bro.

I don't see how people are making such a big deal about the seeding. I think it is clear why the seeds shook out the way they did:
1 Seed UNC: Champions of the RPI #1 conference
2 Seed Vandy: Champions of the RPI #2 conference
3 Seed Oregon St: Champions of the RPI #3 conference
4 Seed LSU: 2nd place in the RPI #2 conference
All this "the committee tried to keep Vandy and LSU apart" talk is retarded. It makes perfect sense how the teams were seeded....and in the grand scheme of things, it's no big deal anyway. Time to move forward...

I am going to go out on a limb and just say that our players don't give a flying frick that we were seeded 3rd instead of 4th. ITS NO BIG DEAL and irrelevant once they take the field.

First off, let me get this out of the way. I have been an LSU Baseball Fan since Mike Miley was SS in 1974 & 75 and whether watch LSU Baseball at the Box any day over and LSU Football Game n Death Valley. Do not have the mess to put up with at the Baseball Games you do at the Football Games. Lot better Family atmosphere and better overall entertainment. Watch LSU Football at Home and watch LSU Baseball at the Box! Enough of that!
What it says is this about Bertman, When LSU wins the Trophy after all is said and done they (ESPN talking Heads) are going to say, LSU was the surprise winners how could they win it after being seeded 4th? Bertman is going to laugh his head off at those ESPN Talking Heads after evey game tryin to explain how and why LSU won each game.
Hey, talking heads? LSU beat Vandy the day before the Bracket show! with 2 of their Key Players not in the line-up and none of the 3 front line starters able to pitch. They could only use Cotton pitched the final 2 2/3 innings and didn’t allow a hit or walk. Also he was MVP!
