Has anyone checked on ell? The way cabrera played last night he probably had to call a doctor about it lasting more than 4 hours.

Regarding the "retard" comment, I understand that it's considered to be non-pc but isn't it because of the meanness in which it's used, versus the actual word itself? And can't that apply to any substitution of that word? Don't we choose to be or not to be offended? Seems we're taking a lot of useful, versatile words out of the vocabulary.

Now, back to LSU. This appears to be a damn fine outfield capable of holding up against tournament teams. Unless their speed is retarded by injury or small ball.

Rich Cordani

1991

2 major leaguers in that group and Cordani batted 3 hole for that team.
