notwithstanding that he has absolutely no constitutional authority under the Louisiana constitution regarding who chooses and how the next coach at LSU is chosen - political power? yes - he appoints the BOS - but the BOS has the sole authority to determine how the next coach is chosen including whether SW is involved in that process - is comments were simply a threat to the BOS

I’ll just accept that I’m being trolled. I should have realized that earlier, that is on me.

That part was misleading, but most smart folks know it is booster (TAF) funds paying his salary and buyout.

I read an actual printed news-paper for the 1st time in a while with my dad this morning and Landry's comments didn't seem all that outlandish when received that way; but when I listened to his rant on a clip he sounded like a ridiculous UL-L cooyon. What's up with dat?

This is Tiger stadium lit up as a memorial for George Floyd under Woodward

Pmac under Woodward

He was using his position to advance decidedly political movements on one side of the aisle.

Where was the signs and lights for Trump or Charlie Kirk?

Want politicians to stay out of LSU athletics?

Don’t make LSU athletics political.

Louisiana's political backwardness has ruined every measurable facet of life, college football might be the next thing. Sorry to break it to you, LSU isn't the best college football team in the SEC, he'll, it's not even the best college football team in the state of Louisiana. That's the reality of why you have so much LSU representation in other states and also why your flagship state university isn't represented by the best college football coach in the country or the region.

I also don't see any of that changing until you all as voters start holding the people you elect accountable for their lack of success at creating value for its citizens.
