Please, link where I said Miles' last game against Arkansas was 2016.
I'll wait.

See thats why I brought up the 5-5 record vs Arkansas. On paper it might look like we would have won, but somehow we were .500 against them...

Absolutely.
Les was on a strong losing bent and we couldn't throw the ball. Nothing was a gimme
LSU scored 38 points against Arkansas throwing the ball 16 times for 157 yards and 0 TDs.
There you go.

the debate was that in 2016, since O finished the season 6-2, that Miles would have finished 6-2 as well.

He had just lost 5 of his last 9

He had just finished a season with the same regular season loss amount as this season and lost to two top rated teams away from tiger stadium the following season.

Doesn't matter. He lost three in a row by two scores or more than two scores. We were ranked 4th, dropped to unranked in 3 weeks

You're seriously going to die on this hill when the poster you replied to that was in the middle of the conversation just confirmed that I was telling the truth? That we were talking about what Miles would have done in 2016?
Your reply to PaperTiger
Please Roger, keep digging your hole.

I dont think Auburn was ranked at all when we lost to them. I may be wrong on that.

So he lost 5 out of 9 right?
What were the two top ranked teams he lost do? Auburn was unranked

Yeah where is Lonnie? He started all this

Joe's got his yes man. OS got his yes man. Time to run pr and convince fans that they saw an improved offense.

I don't care because it's an interesting debate and you're willing to have it. 2016's schedule sets up in a way that 6-2 was a likely finish for Miles. Those rush defenses for Ole Miss, Arkansas, Texas A&M, Missouri and Southern Miss were really bad.
I actually believe that's why Alleva pulled the plug when he did. I don't think he wanted to deal with the potential fan reaction to firing a coach that won 8 or 9 games again. We all saw how that ended for him the first time he tried it.

Auburn finished the 2016 season ranked 17th. Wisconsin finished 8th.

I agree for the most part.

You don’t think he should’ve been fired?

Yep.
Wisconsin was also far less talented.

At the end of 2015, yes. 4 games into 2016, no.
