My friend is getting married that day (around 2:30pm) and we want to know if CBS has the game or if ESPN (night game) has the game.

toss-up between UK/UGA and LSU/UAT. just gonna have to see how the season unwinds and which game CBS in the end decides is better.

UGH I feel your pain I had three weddings to go to during the 2004 season. The only good thing was one of the weddings was after the UGA game. The open bar helped me forget the game.

My friend's going to a wedding that day too, during the day. It's his girlfriend's friend's wedding. I told him to skip it.

I think they're waiting to see if the Gumps have a winning record at that point in the season.

If my friend did that... well we wouldn't be friends much longer because he should know better.

What a colossal douche.

You would consider skipping an LSU home game for for a girlfriend's friend's wedding. Lose the girlfriend if she would even ask.

I am so glad that I nipped this kind of stuff in the bud a long time ago. Any family member or friend of mine knows that if they schedule something on a Saturday, whether LSU is at home or on the road, I will not be there. There is no need for discussion, no debate, no hard feelings. It's just common knowlege. And that includes weddings. My cousin just moved his engagement party to this Saturday from Aug 30 because of me.

Yea, the key to all this is to lay it down from the beginning then you don't have to deal with anybody's crap when you need to be concentrating on your pre-game routine. (i.e. cookin, drinkin, and drinkin, and drinkin.....)

THAT DUDE MUST REALLY BE P-SSY WHIPPED TO HAVE TO GO TO A GIRLFREINDS FREINDS WEDDING. IF MY GIRLFRIEND TOLD ME THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PRESS THE BUTTON ON THE COMPUTER WHERE THE BUD LIGHT LOG COMES FLING OUT OF NOWHERE AND SMASHES HER.
