Basically NOONE on this board has seen him run.

That is what makes it so freaking comical.

In reality, it's the LSU offense that's comical. Therefore, everyone is better.

But when you run 55 plays a game WTF ya gunna do?

FIFY

As far as the RS 2 snaps... there's many things i can say but ill keep it simple.
We won the game. One of our biggest play makers is still healthy for the next game.

Thank God they dropped touchdowns the last 2 plays.

I guess my question to you is.... that was the strategy? Rest RS to be healthy while allowing UNC to drop TD passes in the end zone for the game winning score?

I'm impressed with your analysis and conclusion.

The coaches are high on his running, but really didn't elaborate on the rest of a RBs tasks.
That might be telling.

Knowing the "playbook" and executing the plays are light years apart.
Maybe you risk losing JJ if Ford misses a pickup.
You could lose Shep because RB didn't drag the defender out of a hole and got a free shot.
Plays are complicated and there's a lot at stake .

In Miles' press conference on monday, he said he planned to get Ford in after they were up 30-10, but after the 97-yd. TD that plan fell by the wayside. I'm just telling you what Miles said, anyone who listened to the presser heard it.

I would be that Jarrett Lee and Ford would have got in the game if LSU had scored and made it 37-10

Now we are getting somewhere.

Those extra 20 plays are where offensive rhythm is established. Substitutions are made, new packages are seen.

What ever it is that is causing our drive killers (penalties, fumbles, ints, delays, drops, time mgmt...whatever else) must improve.

We simply do not see enough touches for everyone to get their share.

With our stellar offensive coaching staff? Miles, Crowton, the new BG all knowing gurus of their profession?

Come on!

I think a few carries for Ford early in the 3Q when we were up 30-10 would have been a good measure of his capability and allow him to grow some. There is a good time and bad time, and I'd argue early in the 2nd half would have been as good as any to give the guy the ball and see what he can do. Who knows? It might have been 37-10.

I think BG is solid. I really have no problem with Miles being a bit goofy, if he could just tell me why the play before half ended with 24 seconds on the clock..and we called a timeout with 15 seconds.

But Crowton has got to hit the road after Vandy if in fact we dont see an improvement in our rhythm.

We must give Chavis a chance to make adjustments. fricking no huddle three and outs are just about enough to cramp me up...much less our D.

I hear you, but understand me...

We have a completely inept offense when we have an offensive head coach, the wizard at OC and brought in new talent for a made up job... seriously, you don't see how this doesn't make sense?

I think that this is what makes perfect sense, as well as gives me a little hope.

For whatever reason GC was retained, but I truly believe he is on a short, short leash. BG got his feelings hurt by Urban and needed a place to land....but I think Les recognizes his shite storm and if it is a mid season change that is needed, we are in a position to make that change.

I hope this is the plan. Because I dont think it is the playbook per se, but the calls are just nuts.

You are totally right. A true freshman running back will never do anything.

Signed Trent Richardson, Adrian Peterson and Maurice clarett

It will get better when we don't go 3 plays and a fumble.
I just hope they don't stop the 1 play and a TD part.

Has anyone stopped to think why Ford didn't see the field?

NO. You're the only one that stopped to think why Ford didn't see the ball and we thank God every day for you teaching us.

Is everyone positive Ford wouldn't fumble the ball or make a dumb mistake in his first real game against a very good team on the road?
Are we positive Ridley or Murphy won't fumble?
