Has anyone come to terms with us having the #1 Offense in the country yet?

I still think I’m dreaming or something.

It’s a backwards world we are living in right now.

Not really since Oklahoma has the #1 offense in the country.

But I still haven't come to terms that this is real life.

I'd love to talk about it but all anyone wants to do is piss and moan that the defense is "not good" (its perfectly fine).

by literally 80% of offensive statistics out there.

Team Rankings Take a gander.

Their run game is mostly what puts them ahead of us right now.

The link you sent has us #1 in scoring offense, which is what I was talking about, but ok.

Why would we need to wait a month?

You are crazy if you think past LSU teams would put up these numbers offensively.

Try to make a positive thread about this wild ride we’ve been dreaming about for years and in comes some jackass to steal away your happiness.

Screw him. LSU has the highest average PPG in the country.
Celebrate away brother

We still have the #1 scoring offense (points per game average), which is the main stat.

#1 in pts per game, but behind Oklahoma in most others, yds/play yds/game tds/game etc,

I mean they're similar in many ways, but we've seen a million of the same threads about how great our offense is, rightfully so.

Scoring offense is the only metric I care about.

Is the purpose of an offense to get first downs, gain yards, or score points?

Score points. IDC how many yards or first downs you have if you can't put up the points.

Look, I could make an argument that our offense is better as well considering we've played Texas, but we've also played 3 cupcakes.

Oklahoma's offense is just more efficient.

I’m fired up that we now have an offense that not only putting up ridiculous stats but also being able to sustain drives. BUT, I want to see how this holds up against SEC defenses in consecutive weeks.
