.it is simply uninteresting and boring. College Station for a game makes Starkville look bigtime.

Yes
Mid 80s
Kyle was still a shoe back then
As we were entering from that end of the stadium, the team was coming out of the locker room.
I blended in (had on purple polo and khakis like the coaches) with the team and just walked onto the sideline
ESPN game I believe, we beat them 17 to something with Hudson leading the offense and Eric Hill the stud on defense.
After the game we kinda stormed their field. It was either Hazard or Kittock planted a flag at midfield which provoked a skirmish with faggie special forces.
Anyone remember that?

1987 and the score was 17-3. Aggies didn't cross midfield. I was also on the field after the game and there were most certainly security staff doing their best to get us off. An old friend from Shreveport ran to the middle of the field (I think to stomp the logo, but I'm not certain), got carted off by security, escaped, and ran to mid-field to do it again. He ultimately got handcuffed and taken out of the stadium (can't remember if he was arrested and booked??). We were all young and stupid at the time.....but enjoying ourselves.

Going to see Bon fire memorial is really cool. It is a memorial for all the students that died when the bon fire collapsed. Dixie Chicken is fun but not sure how good it will be for the kids. I would not sit on the student side because they do not sit down for the entire game. Although I guess you can sit right behind the Tiger bench for some pricey seats. Great atmosphere though.

Great fans, and atmosphere.
Depending in your kids ages, the Bush memorial is a nice site if you are a history buff.

One of the best road experiences you can have. Fans are classy

Best fans in the SEC to away fans. They are gracious in defeat.
Just stay off their field after the game. They get upset about that real quick. LOL!

I've been several times. I would definitely describe it as different, but I would almost certainly not use the desciptor 'boring'.
And contrary to popular belief, you will be treated well. They are a strange, but classy group of fans.
Nailed it

I lived in Cypress, Tx for 11 years and went to many Aggie games. Going to A&M is a great experience....great family atmosphere.....friendly folks...since you are bringing the kids, stop in Brenham and go to the Blue Bell factory for a scoop or two! Plenty history on the Aggie campus and Bush library as well. You can park at the library and a bus will bring you to the stadium. One of the great things also is after the game, the LE does a tremendous job getting people away from the campus very quickly....contraflow in full effect...very efficient. Wish I could go.....Texas in general is a wonderful place....enjoy your trip!!!!

Damn............I dont know when you guys went.............but it was the worst road game experience I have ever had.
Been 3 times................it was terrible each times.
That guy was right.......dont walk on their stupid grass. I was nearly attacked for walking on it.........they said if I did it again I could be beheaded.
My 60 year old Aunt was attacked by an older couple eating lunch in a freaking Luby's............the Ags came to her table to tell her she wasnt wanted here.
I was blasted before the game started that its required to stand.......by a Grandma.
I never said a word because I never do in enemy territory. But Aggies are idiots.
