Besides us on Sat...Serious question. This O is insane. I have my concerns with the D but always remind myself there is a lot of talent on that defense, very hopeful they will end on a positive note.

The thing that gives me optimism about the defense is that in the times LSU has needed them to step up they have. Yes they have not been consistent but at times they have been great in spurts.

First half against Texas when LSU’s offense was off to a slow start.

The entire Auburn game.

Second half against Florida allowing the offense to pull away.

First half against Bama allowing the offense to jump out to a lead they couldn’t catch up to.

To be fair, Nix looked like the true freshman he is.

Let's not forget the first half of the Ole Miss game as well.

Nope. Besides the two turnovers, every single drive ended in a td or field goal attempt.

That’s crazy. And great points about the D. They look elite one half and then less than avg another. Like we have mentioned...the talent is there.

Also, this year Gordon from Washington state threw for 9 touchdowns and still lost to UCLA, though not by 3 td’s.

The West Virginia game in 2011 had to be close. I think that QB had almost 500 yds passing alone again LSU

The defense plays when they need to. It floors me that so many people don’t see that

It really is true. It’s like this team just does what it wants when it wants.
