We could've also gone to OT if Lee didn't throw 2 pick 6's to a backup MLB.

Except that he did, one on the very first play of the game. That game was never close.

In summary...

LSU-UGA in 2008 was statistically close, but Lee's INTs didn't give LSU a chance.

LSU-UF in 2008 started with an unfortunate tipped TD but it didn't matter as the game was definitely a blowout.

Alabama did NOT blow out LSU (only 1 TD in the game) but the Tide definitely dominated it. (Notre Dame was a blowout)

UGA made LSU look pretty darn bad in the 2005 SEC Championship Game.

Now let this die

Just wondering our worse loss?

Bama BCS championship game?

Was there ever another game that we didn't have a chance to win in the 4th quarter?

Yes, 2008 we were destroyed by uga, Florida and ole miss! Absolutely destroyed! Hence, why the Chief was brought in

Outside of 2008. No. The BCS championship was a 2 score game going into the 4th quarter.

Worst. Ever.

Worst offensive performance I have seen from an LSU team.

In fact, the SECCG and the BCSNCG were the two worst passing games I've seen from an LSU QB. LSU totaled 83 total passing yards in those two games.

So except for Florida 08 and maybe Georgia no other absolute blowouts. I personally don't believe less than 3 scores is a blowout. Maybe by LSU standards but not the rest of the nation.

My question was really meant to see if there was ever a game that when the 4th quarter rolled around we had no chance of winning.

Everybody with an IQ above 40 believes 21-0 is a blow out, and LSU had no chance to win that game come the 4th quarter. Maybe there was hope to cross the 50 yard line, but that's it.

Also, please enlighten us on this less than 3 scores crap you keep mentioning???

By the end of the game, it was...which is all that matters. 21-Nothing! Did. Not. Cross. Midfield.

Edit: (I stand corrected, even tough I'm actually sitting. LSU did cross midfield.)

Right and the point that you tried to make about UGA changing there defense falls in the same category. IF, they didn't chage their defense the game wouldn't have been close. I am saying IF Lee doesn't throw the pick 6s we could've gone to OT.

All "IFs" are pointless. The worst blowout that year was Florida. Everything went wrong and we got manhandled.

The BCSCG was a blowout. 21-0 and we crossed the 50 once. It was an arse kicking.

Ha. Some of you guys taking this way too serious.

The point is we are talking about games since 2005 and can only think of 3-4 really tough games to watch through.

Since the miles era I doubt there is another team that is even close to that.

We have it good. Enjoy life and stop bitching.
