Did you see all those dline men and lbs in Harris face?
yes I did
I'm not putting on the blame on Harris, he had little time
but to say that we didn't try to get short throws to our athletes in space is quite false
that was my point

Who said it had to be during a bye week? He had all summer to make the passing game more effective.
Explain how we can come out against McNeese and show 5 or 6 different formations to start the game? This is because Les knows we can beat them.
We get to conference play, we go back to calling a scared game.

u think it's easy to change your team's identity during a bye week and do it successfully? Because
It's impossible.
It's also not EASY to create the best team possible out of what you have, but that's what coaches are supposed to do.
Unless you think the best possible way to make LSU as good as possible this year was to spend the first 7 games not developing a more balanced and complete offense, then you have to agree the coaching failed.
They couldn't change the teams identity in two weeks. They shouldn't have needed to. They've had Harris for two years, they've had their OL for months of practices and games. They used all of that time to create a team that could run the ball and throw play-action bombs. Saban predictably stopped that, and they had nothing to fall back on, because they didn't create anything to fall back on.

Did you watch our last three games leading up to Bama. Because the above quote tells me you didn't.

You can barely say athletes (plural) how many 1 receiver set passing plays did we called?
HINT too damn many.

It would be dumb to fire him now...but it wouldn't have been dumb in years past

I'm amazed you think it takes an ex player to understand coaching blunders.
Just stupid logic.

Chavis fricking sucks at the end of each half. That's how. Same way we lost in 2014.
The defense never should have been on the field at the end of the 2012 game. One more 6 yard out stick route by Jarvis Landry and we were taking a knee.
We scored 17 point, bro. That ain't lighting up the scoreboard. Can't lay all the blame on Chavis... and I can't stand Chavis.

Yes, last three games were decent. Still not a good passing team.

We should more creativity in the 6 plays against McNeese than we showed the entire season. If that doesn't sound like someone is coaching not to lose, then I don't know what to say.

Again, you're the one analyzing one decision and not the entire game. And regardless, Chavis had one job, and he routinely came up short in this critical situation.

That doesn't absolve the defense of stopping Bama from gaining 70 yards with under two minutes. Hell, it barely took Bama a minute. That's unacceptable.

No one claimed it was.

When you give him the lead with under two minutes and he fails time and time again, I most certainly will. Dude was fricking garbage at the end of halves, and costs us two Bama games.

Lane Kiffin had a fricking running back looking like Elway.
Aub made a DB look like Aaron Rodgers
Because the cater to their players' skills. This is a concept that the current staff at LSU can't grasp. Why the frick are we constantly putting our DBs in zone????? That's why we are not looking like DBU this year. We tweak the shite that works and keep the shite that ain't working.

I never understood the "we only throw bombs" complaint
whenever we have our receivers 1 on 1 with no safety help, the correct call is to throw that bomb every time
the problem with Bama is since they didn't need to bring their safeties in for help since their front was so dominant, the bombs weren't even open

he can yell all he wants, money speaks and I don't think many of the supporters of LSU football want to see Miles gone. Just some people still recovering from the loss.
I've heard from a good source that at least one big-time booster is getting disgruntled with Les' style of coaching.

How do you attack a dominant front seven? Off tackle runs and deep bombs?

I don't want to see bombs against Western Kentucky unless we are in danger of losing. It doesn't help us get better.

my only point was to address your criticism of not developing anything else before this game
and nobody foresaw Bama's front completely and utterly dominating our front to that degree
