He made some mistakes in the AU game, no doubt. I don't think our gameplan did him any favors, but we'll never know if he could have done better if the coaching change had happened a week earlier.
However, the complaints about the UF game are fricking ridiculous. He was the only one out there NOT screwing up. He played well enough for us to win the game against a very good secondary. The blame for this loss goes to several on the field and sideline, but not to him. Damn.

Seriously how bush league and cliche do you have to be to always blame the QB everytime something bad happens. The guy played damn near perfect yesterday. He didn't fumble 3 times inside the 10 he didn't go the wrong way he didn't get burnt twice and he didn't go into a shell inside the red zone with a poor oline instead of putting the game in the best playmaker you had that game your qbs hands. What he did do was run a perfect 2 minute drill to put us on the 1 with 2 plays to get into the end zone and lead us to 424 yards of offense against the nations 3rd best d. We had no 100 yard rusher or reciever Etling was our best offensive player against one of the best ds in the country.

first of all, comparing different teams from different seasons is stupid. but i guess if comparing how two QBs played within the same season wouldn't look good for my argument, i would do it too.

Etling is no Manziel, but he can win in the SEC and BH has never proven on the field that he has what it takes to do that. He has a strong arm and can run a little. So what. Has nothing else that is required for the position. Some of you want that "Athletic" QB in there so fricking bad, that you're totally blind to that.

Keep praising a backup QB that has led a NC caliber team to 4 losses and things will be okay.
I personally know white and black players on the team that feels that DE has more toughness but BH would have been better for a NC run dummy.

The sexy pick in Vegas for a NC before the season will go down in history as one of the most underachieving LSU teams ever.
To say the QB play is not partly to blame is crazy. This dude was beat out at Purdue. And no, it wasn't Brees.
