understand Harris seemed to be a little off earlier this year but was the trigger pulled too quickly

He was off the end of last year too, but no one seems to give him any slack for the entire program falling apart under Miles at the time.

He is way more talented than Etling. He should have gotten a chance under the new leadership. I think Miles failed him badly, but the ignoramuses around here can't think past the ends of their nose, and are fixated on Etling despite his inability to do anything against solid defenses.

At least the 2 coaches that benched him will never coach again at LSU either

If I had a hard on for those two coaches as you do for your cousin, you'd have a point.

Honestly.. no.

Etling is a flat out better QB than Harris. Whether the stats show it or not.

Then that would be your opinion.

So you are saying Harris would not have had more success against Bama? Compare Etlings stats vs Harris' stats against similar teams last year.

They wont do that. Trust me. They have already been down this road with me.

They just say he is better. Like its a fact but it not.

Calgon ..

I agree their passing numbers are similar; however Wins and Losses don't tell the whole story

Brandon lost his confidence and it clearly showed by his decision making skills and pocket pressure awareness. The offense then lost confidence in Harris after the Wisconsin game-ending interception and during the first 2 series vs. JSU. Miles made the decision to insert Etling and give the team a spark.

BH was given every oppty to lead this team as he even trained under QB Guru, George Whitfield in CA the last 2 summers. Sadly I never saw any improvement in Harris' game as he clearly digressed.

No one will argue with you that Harris is the better athlete or has the bigger arm. Based on Etling's starts, it's obvious Etling reads defenses better and appears to make better decisions on protecting the ball. Both are below average 55% passers and will be back next year barring an injury or transfer.

the sad part of this entire situation, Les Miles signed 17 QB's during the 11 years he was HC. Just 3 completed their careers at LSU, and 3 still remain ... Etling, Harris, and McMillan. 10 were dismissed, transferred or switched positions and 7 never played a single down at LSU

that is why this passing offense ranks near the bottom of all FBS schools

Exactly!! Something we weren't even getting last year! Of course Etling isn't s great QB, but he can actually sit in a pocket and hit a check down. Do you honestly think Harris could have drove us down the field at the end of the Florida and auburn game?

I mean we did beat them last year with Harris and lost to both of them this year with Etling

1. He is not a run threat.

2. He has no poise.

3. He has no accuracy.

4. He has more upside than DE due to arm
strength.

5. DE is a very average QB.

Thanks for proving the point that you're a race baiting community organizer just like your TPOS, obama.

You people love to throw out the race card at every turn. It's tired and old just like the "oppression" card you people like to throw out now.

It's not because harris is black. It's because he had plenty of time to separate himself from the rest and he couldn't do it. Harris has issues and he's reached his peak. Maybe he should've spent more time watching film instead of playing video games............

It was literally night and day when Etling took over the team. The receivers even prefer it. Know how I know that? I know one of the receivers personally and very well. From my home town and spoke with him a couple of weeks ago. He basically said harris is a pouter and blames his inaccuracy on the receivers. The boy can't hit the side of a barn! So take your race baiting crap and go play sjw somewhere else because you're a liar and you're also full of crap. The linemen even prefer Etling because they know he's a better leader.

And no I won't say the players name or number so don't even ask. He's a regular in the games and yes he's black.

Etling will not be the QB next year. Harris might be the QB next year.

Maybe you haven't noticed, but Harris apparently lost his helmet. He hasn't had it with him on the sidelines since the Jacksonville State game. The one snap he took against Auburn, he was wearing T. Valentine's helmet. Can't play without a helmet.

Which teams are similar? Auburn and Alabama are better defensively. How do you compare teams across years?

Harris had his shot this year and looked like he lost all confidence. He needs a new start.

Next year Will Etling drop the ball like he did against auburn not being able to make a simple handoff. Next year will Etling throw the ball straight in the ground one pass and a flying duck the next pass like he did against Alabama.
