I've got to go with LSU vs Arizona in 2006

That was insane how hard we were hitting them

The most physical college game I have ever seen.

Agreed. Auburn 2006. One of the refs in that game said it was the hardest hitting game he had seen in his life.

This...as far as BOTH teams go, but I agree with the OP that the hardest LSU ever hit, was the AZ game, we absolutely mauled about 3 of their players.

I remember by the time it was halfway through the 4th quater it seemed they were dragging an injured guy off after every play. Both teams played their hearts out that day.

I immediately thought of Auburn 2006. Brutal game. Just brutal.

1. 2006 Auburn game - I only saw it on TV but it was just brutal
2. 2007 Florida game - probably the most physical game I have attended in person. with Hester on our side and Tebow on theirs, you had ballcarriers laying a lot of the wood in his game.
3. 2004 Auburn game - what a bitter pill to lose that game the way we did but the hitting was ferocious

+1.
4th on my list is the '03 title game. The Sooners had a great D and the Tigers had a legendary performance. Several of the Sooners left the game for medical attention.

I will add a couple of "honorable mentions" to that list: 2003 Ole Miss game. There was some pad poppin' in that game, too. also, the 2005 Alabama game.

I'm talking hits going both ways, though that one definitely falls somewhere in the top 5 or so.

For violence inflicted on the opponent, don't forget that 49-0 arse-whipping we put on UK in 06. They said it taught em how to be physical.
