Daniels has started/played in way more games than Brennan.

The argument for Brennan wasn't experience...it was that he was a legitimate talent to get the ball downfield.

Good points, but I still think that MB had superior read/recognition ability compared to JD.

In his limited action, he was able to get the ball out quickly to the hot receiver or whip throws into windows quickly to throw people open. JD has not shown that ability whatsoever.

I guess nobody listened to the telecast last night. BK was reported as saying they asked JD what plays he was comfortable with and those are what we are running. They removed the plays he's not comfortable with. Stop putting all the blame on Denbrock, it's not his fault JD is only comfortable running a limited set of plays. That right there is why the play calling is predictable as well. JD can't even execute the plays he's comfortable with which says a lot about his skill set.

I think we all can agree that he's consistently not seeing the field and open WR's. Also, he can't read the defense and is lost. The only reason he's our starter is he presents the best opportunity of not turning the ball over.

I have no problem with JD being and remaining the starter. However, let's be real and keep it all in perspective. Auburn played their 3rd string QB last night and he looked light years ahead of JD and commanded their offense much better. Over 300 yards passing in only his 2nd start vs 80 yards passing from a QB starting for his 4th straight season. We have no QB this year.

I don’t understand how these people don’t understand that. He had all of that time because Auburn was being extremely disciplined with their rush. They were trying to collapse the pocket from the inside instead of edge rushing like they would with someone not as dynamic as Jayden. Jayden has some serious deficiencies but he also has some strengths. I hope Tennessee feels the same way about Jayden and LSU as this board does. They are gonna get punched in the face.

With the time that JD had on some of those plays last night, MB would have carved auburn like a thanksgiving turkey.

He only had that much time because they were playing contain and not rushing aggressively

Y’all realize Daniels has started more games in his career than Brennan right

What’s hard to believe is we have fans who don’t understand he was deserving of his third string status. He had no power 5 offers while in the portal.

He quit. Twice.

For the last damn time.

Plain and simple.

Quitters don’t get opportunities. And you better believe he would have been in over Nuss last night. Regardless of if he was going to be bench for Daniels to start the year.

He’s was a quitter twice. Stop bringing him up. Please.

It kind of sucks, wish he didn't hang it up so soon. He obviously saw the the staff really wanted to develop JD and go with him no matter what. Really wish he stayed though. We could really use him right now. And I bet he'd have starting role locked up by now. I'm sure he's kicking himself right now.
