wife is still aslseep. she was puking at 3 am last night. i could be spending fathers day taking care of the kids myself while the wife recovers. such is the life of a father i guess.

Lost my dad three weeks ago. He was 83 and was on home Hospice for two years( cancer) He was a Koren Vet, more than just a dad .. he was my hero and my best friend. My advice to anyone is spend as much time as you can with your parents and tell them you love them( I did). Even knowing my dad had a short time left at the end, it doesn't make it any easier when those funeral doors close and you say your last goodbyes... the hardest thing I've ever had to do

Why wouldn't they be included? They are hard working fathers that are very involved in their children's lives. This is one day that I hope they take a break and enjoy where they are in life.

Thanks brother and same to every other dad. Toughest job I ever had and wouldn’t trade it for anything! I would have 10 kids if I could.

Venison poppers, sausage and bone-in shoulder about to go on the spit, along with ny strips for the less adventurous.
If only LSU was playing today

Sounds delicious. I woke up at 5, lit the smoker and put a 12 lb brisket on. Sausage, boudin and some baked beans to go with it. I'm gonna be in a meat coma for a few days.

gonna watch those pros get their asses kicked by Shinnecock again today and feel good about my arse getting handed to me by many courses over the years.
