Are you now claiming you don't have a negative view? I'm pretty sure you've admitted so.

With these types your either in lock-step or you're part of "the problem".

So whoever doesn't think this coach can win a NC is a negative person?

Why can't someone just have a belief, based on the facts, without interjecting emotion into it?

You could ask 10 different financial experts what they think the stock market will do. Some think stocks will rise, others think they will fall. That doesn't mean one group is positive and the other is negative. They just interpret the facts differently.

I don't know why this issue always devolves to the positive/negative spectrum to you.

If that was the limit of your anger I would not have a problem with most of what you say.

However we both know that's not true.

You know why that is? You only pay attention to the "negative" stuff.

Exactly. I've said it a dozen times if I've said it once. Roger only see what he wants to see. And that's the negative (or what he perceives as negative) posts that people submit.

Say the team looks good, or the coaches did a great job, he'll ignore it and pretend he didn't see it.

He's gotta dwell on the negative so he can claim he's a better fan and feel better about himself.

It's said but it's true. In my opinion.

Pretty much. I can agree or disagree with anyone here, it doesn't mean I have to disagree or agree on any other topic.

I certainly think 2019 will be a very good season though.

You just described what both sides of these ridiculous football discussions say in nearly every thread.

Spot on. He gains some sort of self-esteem from this idea that he's a better fan than others. Otherwise I don't know why he'd carry on about it every day.

Why is it so important that he come down to the "negative" level and tell us how he's so much better than us?

I see that most people are fairly confident in a really good season.

The overwhelming majority, I may add.

I'm confident in a good season too. I've never said we'd have a bad season, did I?

Am I a positive person now?

I suspect you're stumped right now and thinking of some way to still qualify your outlook as positive and mine as negative.

Yes you do.

Well, it is my opinion.

But even if it wasn't. Roger and I could go round and round about it, and in the end, one of us might have hurt feelings over it.

But ya know what Lunatik? Life ain't always fair.

Something about ghosts and goblins, and not being excited for the season...

Because youre one of those guys whose afraid Rick or King is gonna fart and you're not gonna be here to smell it.

You thrive on negativity dude.

That's the best you've got?

I've destroyed your little theory about how you're positive and I'm negative. We both expect good seasons, so what's the rub?

Ah yes. Goldfish gets butthurt and claims victory. We all know the routine.

You ain't fooling anyone. You hate the HC and it drives your negativity

Some like the thrill of “stirring the pot” Red. Post LSU football will have “ a really good season”, they will debate you for 50 pages on the meaning of a really good season for LSU.

Fooling? Where did I say I expect a bad season? More stuff you're making up.

Where did I say I hate the HC? Making stuff up again.

We both expect good seasons. I'm still waiting to hear how you're positive about it and I'm negative?

Start a thread saying something positive about the HC. See how it goes.

There is an issue though.

There are chances for two types of threads:

"O is best LSU recruiter in over 10 years..."

and

"O is doing a good job at recruiting"
