and 9-3 WITH MCNEESE CANCELLLED.
McNeese was 10-0 in regular season that year. Thank you, Mother Nature. That was a "Troy" in waiting. Oh yes, it was.

UA has been different for about a 100 years. And short of some third party influence will continue to be. Football takes one heck of a commitment since their are so many players and coaches.

LSU has a legitimate shot to make it every season by going 11-1 with a loss to Alabama. Orgeron went 9-3 the last two seasons.

Damn the truth hurts.

You cant really use that excuse when you are losing to teams like troy and miss state by 30

Two years ago, man. I'm not defending the extension. Just pointing out how meaningless the Troy and MSU posts are becoming.

He also has NFL teams interested in him

He also has brown hair and is 6'3 and apparently kinda cute?

Just wanted to throw my own completely irrelevant info into the discussion.

“You’re not as good as you think you are.” I’ll leave it right here.

Negative fans are not as knowledgeable regarding Coach O’s abilities as they think they are.

I’ll just leave this right here!

Did you watch the season and how LSU finished

We finished 3-2. Scored zero vs Bama. Had a one score win vs a horrible Arky team. Lost to A&M in a huge rebuilding season for them. Our bowl win was nice but once again we let a team off the mat late and had to hold on. Our offense MUST improve. Our recruiting is going well and our final ranking was really good but we still have some areas to improve greatly upon before we are in the conversation with the top 3 or 4. Hanny said nothing that isn’t accurate.

The thread isn't about LSU's entire season. It's about the gap between LSU and Bama. Can you honestly tell us that LSU is gaining on Bama in any way, shape or form?

I think if LSU is improving as a program then it's self evident that LSU is gaining on bama. Do you think that if LSU had fielded a better offensive line that game would've been so lopsided? Of course not. You'll get people here that will outright argue against better players at certain positions. I hope that I don't have to tell how insanely ridiculous that is.

Explain it to them Ben, LSU is doing whatever it takes to gain on college football’s greatest dynasty at Alabama. 2019 should tell us how far LSU’s come.

So maybe that's when you give Orgeron an extension.

Can we please at least score a FG against Bama before we extend this guy’s contract? Who’s coming to steal the great ED O from us? Who? And if they do..Aranda is ready to go I bet.

We were 9-3 that season playing an SEC Schedule, and we had a healthy LF7.

You’re some kind of special.

He sure tried, to an 8-5 team

Down 31-3 at one point. Thank god for fumbles. Troy outgained LSU in this one, unlike in 2017.

But did we lose?

Good bye.

Love how you’re pumping a moral victory over an actual victory.

Les hater invented the moral defeat.

Let’s forget O beating a 4-9 Florida team by a missed PAT. They were a good team then I guess.

“ LSU is gaining on the Bama“

63-10, 2 straight shutouts out in Tiger Stadium , a 9-0 conference performance as opposed to 5-3, 45 pts a game as opposed to 32, and playing in the playoffs every yr as opposed to never playing in them all tells me yours statement is little more than wishful thing. Pleasant wishful thinking, but nevertheless wishful thinking.

Luck is better than skill. We sere down 28 points.

Troy 2017 >>> troy 2008

Complain about the offense? We only gained 340 yards in 2008
