The defense looks good except along the defensive line but the offense is young across the board and needs help at RB,Oline, depth at QB

Like I said before, it's amazing how much credit he get's for trying to fix the issues that he and his staff have created.

quote:

RB

Derrius Guice
Darryl Williams
Nick Brossette
Lanard Fournette

All on the roster when Orgeron arrived. Yet, somehow the fact that he hasn't been able to replace Guice and Williams is not his fault.

quote:

Oline

LSU's Oline graded out as one of the best in the country in 2015. Orgeron is hired and there is a mass exodus. Now, LSU's is one of the worst in the country.

quote:

depth at QB

You can't be fricking serious right now. LSU just had 2 QBs transfer. How in the world is this not something that happened on Orgeron's watch?

That said, any reasonable LSU fan would have to admit this is not a case of neglect like we saw with position groups under Miles.

7 players on the defensive line in 3 years isn't a problem?

You're delusional.

On the Oline he signed

4 in 2017
6 in 2018
5 committed for 2019

I would say he has done a lot to address that issue

On the DLine (not including DE/OLB tweeners)

3 signed in 2017 (plus transfer in of Feheiko)
3 signed in 2018
1 committed for 2019

Miles last 3 recruiting classes:

2016:
4 Offensive Linemen
8 Defensive Linemen

2015:
5 Offensive Linemen
2 Defensive Linemen

2014:
3 Offensive Linemen
4 Defensive Linemen

Yeah bro. Keep telling us all how well Orgeron is doing filling that depleted roster.

ETA: All of you dipshits arguing that Orgeron is "fixing" the depth along the lines need to look at this. Fact is, he's slightly increased the Oline depth (after the issue was created after he was hired due to transfers) while utterly crushing the Dline depth. Making shite up isn't going to fly anymore.

The players leaving left for whatever reason that they had. How is that the coaches fault? Either they didn't want to compete or they were never going to play and were processed.

I think the best win of any college football team this year is by far Alabama going to Death Valley and beating the brakes off the #3 team in the country.
Tired of it.

You're the one using them being gone as depth issues. Not me.

“7 players on the defensive line in three years isn’t a problem?”

It would be if that was how many we actually have after this years final signing day. We already had signed 7 over the past two years ( when you include Feheiko). I doubt we sign less than 3 this year so that will give us about 10. I would say that is sufficient in a group where only three guys play. Particularly with next year being a nice in state class for DL

Wait, so Miles wasn't "neglecting" position groups like you previously claimed? You need to make up your mind.

You sure are an angry little guy. Time to calm down.

Reality is, you are wrong. You have been wrong the entire thread. Evidently you aren’t intelligent enough to grasp that.

The players are being brought in. Hopefully it isn’t another group of George Brown, Frank Herron, Chidi Whateverhisnamewas, etc. guys Miles brought in who had the 4-5* rating but were either lazy or grossly overrated

Try to grasp that only having 1 DL commitment today doesn’t mean that will be the case when it is all said and done. Try to grasp that all three of last years signees are redshirting which should be a good thing. The sky isn’t falling. Or maybe it is for you

I've brought facts that prove your claim of Miles "neglecting" the offensive and defensive lines is pure bullshite. It's not really surprising that you wish I'd calm down. Slapping around posters that just make shite up is a good way to pass the time.

Would you like to actually address the numbers I've posted that prove you wrong? My guess is you're just going to keep deflecting at this point.

Sure. How about you correct the fact that we only signed 2 OL in 2014 and you said there were 3. Clapp and Brumfeld. Do you think it is ok to only sign 2 OL in any year?

I haven’t looked at your other numbers, but most would assume there are other errors. You don’t seem to be terribly bright

Do you think signing 2 DL in 2015 was a sign of Miles recruiting prowess and personnel management?

We will all wait for your snappy reply

Jevonte Domond. You may want to look him up.

Pro tip: If you're going to call someone out, make sure you aren't wrong. Especially if you're going to call them stupid.

Thanks for being such a pro. I was referencing the 247 site and they didn’t have him listed

Btw. How many DL did we sign in 2015. You said 2. I see Isiah Washington. Who was the other big stud that Miles brought in after Chief and Haley struck out?

Apparently it isn't a problem. You've already said that Orgeron signing only 3 in 2017 & 2018 is no big deal.

Again, which is it? You really do need to make up your mind.

You made up an entire scenario concerning Joe Burrow in your head this morning so you could take another shot at the coaches.

Yes they do. Maybe you should look a little bit harder.

Arden Key was signed as a defensive end. So, two.

Man, this blew up in your face, didn't it. Better luck next time.
