Unbiased people used recruiting ratings to tell us it was talented. Unbiased NFL coaches and scouts told us it was not that talented.

LSU had 15 players drafted in the last 2 years. Go ahead and list all of the teams that had more.

We will wait.

How many were from the Front 7 or O Line?

Ya know, the guys that are vital if you want to beat Bama and Florida

You think he's "made strides" on the offensive and defensive lines

LSU hasn't signed over five offensive linemen in the last five years. In fact out of five years it's only happened twice. Last class O took 7 offensive linemen. Is that not addressing the problem. Explain how it isn't.

4 players

You mean the spot that I've already said was weak and isn't being addressed?

What's your point again?

I'm assuming he's referring to shadow staff, analysts, improving facilities, etc. These aren't ground breaking ideas so I fail to see how anyone else would be incapable of trying to imitate the things that are becoming norm for top programs.

As I'm reading this, let me say something I did not think I would ever say when he failed to change the offense after the 2015 season...

I miss Les Miles.

Texas was 16-21 the 3 years before Herman got there, so he was starting will less. If he goes 9-3 that’s pretty much a wash, he had a better recruiting class last year and is ranked higher this year

As of right now according to rivals LSU is number 6 and Texas is number 7.

Going back 4 years Texas has had one recruiting class drop out of the top 15. Two number 11 classes.

In that same time period aTm has had 2 number 16 classes and two top ten classes.

Neither one of these teams had bare cupboards.

He's fixing a problem that was created when 7-8 offensive linemen left under his watch. I've never seen a man get so much credit for working to fix problems that he created in the first place. It's insane.

Also, why aren't you bringing up the defensive line? He brought in 6 players last year and 2 of them have been moved to offense. He's got 1 defensive linemen committed for 2019. Is that addressing the issue in your opinion?

Everybody loves to slam the coach but will not acknowledge the depth and talent issues facing the team and I'm the one that gets called biased

Going in to 2016 LSU had the 6th rated roster, taletwise, in the country. Going in to 2017 LSU had the 6th rated roster, talentwise, in the country.

The offensive and defensive lines are weak spots, and haven't improved in Orgeron's 2.5 seasons.

Why do you continue to make things up

the losses to uf, nd and troy are really inexcusable, but O has done a solid job to this point.

not great, but 2019 was always going to tell the tale and still will.

fwiw, i wanted herman, gundy or mullen.

That's one team that was ahead of LSU in the rankings you're arguing against. Go ahead and list the rest of them.

We are still waiting.

From the front 7, including linebackers? LSU has had six drafted. The four you listed plus Beckwith and Riley.

You're cherry picking my post. I clearly stated the areas that needed depth. Now who is making stuff up right now?

Here I'll do it for you.

The defense looks good except along the defensive line but the offense is young across the board and needs help at RB,Oline, depth at QB

On the Oline he signed

4 in 2017
6 in 2018
5 committed for 2019

I would say he has done a lot to address that issue

On the DLine (not including DE/OLB tweeners)

3 signed in 2017 (plus transfer in of Feheiko)
3 signed in 2018
1 committed for 2019

So clearly they need 2 more guys this year on the DL. WE will see what happens there. That said, any reasonable LSU fan would have to admit this is not a case of neglect like we saw with position groups under Miles.
