You don't really think they coach according to what the fans think do you ?

If they did... Lee and Ford would be starting.

Well, that said I agree. But, West Virginia isn't going to be killing us by airing out the ball. They have one dangerous receiver, and one very dangerous running back.

The defense is skewed, don't get me wrong they are very very good, but LSU still hasn't played a great offense.

I think the defense is what will keep us in games. They look great but like these guys have said, you play this style you're basically resigning yourself to a couple of losses to the elite.

To me that's saying, we're okay with 8 or 9 wins. I guess conservative offense is just what we're comfortable running at this point but it still falls on the QB. If they trusted the QB, they'd change the style of offense.

but neither has Bama, or most anyone else.

When you go undefeated over two straight regular seasons with a NC...you get the benefit of the doubt, I'm sorry. As far as I'm concerned, at this point, BAMA is better in all three phases until proven otherwise.

If you're wanting to call into the show, be warned that Hannagriff is only wanting very positive comments about Jefferson and the team tonight. He seems to not want ANY constructive criticism.

The JJ haters seem flumoxed by someone in the media who agreed with them last week seeing this game differently than they do. You can almost see their expectant faces falling as this thread started.

Last year they certainly held JJ back from any passes over the middle, due to Lee getting it for the interceptions and the fans going ape shite.

Plus, you have to know they also realize the situation with the boo birds. They certainly don't want JJ to have to hear them.

Wow, you're right. If not for the 5 INTs JJ didn't throw tonight, JJ might have cost us the game.

Confused here. I was replying to the Postgame show guy who kept stressing his opinion. I thought the coaches called plays so that JJ didn't throw int's... how would he have thrown 5?

2. because they let Lee sling it and it damn near ruined him, and it DID ruin him in the eyes of the fans. Maybe they are trying to make sure they don't ruin JJ.

Ehhhh....he's a junior. How much longer or they gonna try to "not ruin" him?

That's what I see as well. Of course it could be that they change the gameplan for the bigger games and allow a bigger passing percentage, but probably not. They probably try running right up the gut for several series until the opposing team gets up a couple of touchdowns on us and we HAVE to throw at that point. On the other hand, we have thrown the ball MUCH more several seasons ago when we had a more capable QB.

The caller asked a question about why don't we use Shep like Harvin. But of course Charlie mentions the two drops again.

The caller was referencing the plays Harvin got running it out the backfield/wildcat and those short passes where he could get yards after the catch... not the two pure WR route passes he dropped

Personally, I just don't think Jefferson can make multiple reads so everytime we pass we try some type of rollout coming across the field with two receivers...that's the issue.

He can't read the field. That's the issue. That's why you're getting what you get. Case closed.

They read it. They referenced a comment I and another guy made earlier in the thread.

They're really good but they're bipolar. Some weeks the sky is falling, others you're having double rainbows across Walk-Ons. Guess it just depends on if they see more bad than good.

Their position makes sense though. Bringing Lee in basically just does more bad than good at this point. If they felt they could have made a switch, it would have been at the beginning of the season. Instead, whatever they're seeing, they must be pleased with.

Whatever, it's not like they are paying me or I'm donating extravagant amounts of money. If they want to run this shitty offense, then go ahead. I'm just tired of trying to figure it out.
