New LSU wide receivers coach Cortez Hankton will make an average of $900,000 per year, according to his term sheet. He has a three-year deal.

It seems that part of the "alignment" that Kelly keeps referencing included a blank check for his coaching staff.

Yea a blank check helps in getting the best coaching staff just seemed better more proven options were out their for that kind of money

They identified their guy and made it happen. I think it shows the programs commitment in locking down the instate talent. Kudos to the boosters willing to do what it takes to provide Kelly with the support and Woodward for making it happen.

Who?

I’m no wide receiver coach savant but Hankton seems to be a pretty phenomenal hire on paper

If we paid Adam Henry 900k to return nobody would be upset. People don’t know how to feel about Hankton since the passing game at Georgia sucks and the best pro prospect at WR they have had since hankton has gotten there is George Pickens. On paper, he hasn’t gotten much results with his position groups. That doesn’t justify paying him like an OC. I’m not sure if call that a “homerun”

Is it coming out of your check?

You’re blaming him for a passing game that started a walk on at QB?

You know he came to NOLA and got Van Pran away from lsu, right? A guy that as a sophomore was better than any OL we had last year
