I really don’t want to go outside and hire someone to implement a new system. Don’t fix it unless it’s broke.

Sloan has limited play calling experience but we will see

Pick ONE and roll with it. BK will be involved either way. Don’t need a three headed master.

Hankton has been applying for NFL OC jobs. You absolutely go with the CO-OC roles here for retention.

It's a no-brainer for '24. If Hankton gets an OC job next year, replace him with the best WR coach available. This is part of it. It's crazy to me how people think this is so crazy. Happens every single year. Bama and Georgia both had to replace OCs last year. The sky didn't fall. Just like it didn't for Georgia when we hired Hankton.

That's the plan for the bowl. Don't think that's how it eventually plays out.

No. Kelly needs to hire an experienced OC away from a quality program.

Next season with an unproven OC and a proven failure at DC is a recipe for disaster.

I don’t think either one ends up as our next OC and I feel like we are going to be really disappointed with BK’s choice. This is starting to feel like the Les Miles days

Yeah hire someone else and lose out on the possibility of a top recruiting class next year . Cause we hired new offensive coaches . Sloan will do fine . If not good . We just bump him back down to QB coach the following year and retain underwood and others

Outside of the Alabama and Georgia. lsu has the best proven coach in the country lol. Who would you rather have than BK? A lesser experience HC? Calm down BK will build an elite program here .

You assume that Sloan would get the promotion. Some people are saying it would be Hankton.

If that's the case, I don't see Sloan staying on.

Perhaps you should temper your expectations for a post from UnluckyTiger.

Like the co-OC idea. Kelly going to oversee anyway and these two guys are steeped in what we've been doing. Biggest concern would be play-calling. Who the heck would be in booth calling plays?

The difference is at Bama and UGA the talent is better and they don't change the verbiage of the calls.
