For one, he never said it was going to happen.
For another, what clearly happened was that they made a push to get rid of Les which failed. It is possible to have too good info.

Jimbo is not the only coach. There are others that would have made fine replacements. Miles still deserves to go. We are officially Georgia. "Richt is such a great guy, we can't fire him."

They never talked to Jimbo, they never faxed Jimbo, they were barely on the same continent with Jimbo.
Sexton is a shark - he sensed weakness - he exploited that weakness. It makes ZERO sense for a successful head coach of Florida State to change jobs to come to LSU. ZERO sense. It does not make any sense.
The fact that our fans have to be reminded of how Sexton works BOGGLES my imagination.

It's obvious Jimbo was in play, Alleva never commented to give himself a way out. Jimbo deal falls apart, Alleva acts like Les would never be fired
