Hammond police searching for pregnant woman who stole stripper pole

TANGIPAHOA PARISH — The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is requesting any assistance in identifying and locating two women, including a pregnant woman, caught on camera, allegedly stealing a pole that’s often associated with exotic dancing, TPSO said.

It was Sept. 9 when TPSO deputies say two women, one pregnant, entered a business on University Avenue in Hammond. Deputies say the women “stole a pink pole typically associated with exotic dancing.”

The duo drove away in a blue or black Chevrolet sedan and were caught on surveillance video
