May not be a bad idea to have someone DH for Hughes and let the pitchers hit.

Hughes is sooner or later going to come up in a spot in the batting order where he is needed like Garza did last night. Garza came through with a 2 RBI hit. I seriously doubt that Hughes can deliver. At times you want him to just stand there and take pitches and either walk or get out on strikes. At least that way he doesn't hit into a double play.

The guy has no power in his swing and can barely get the ball out of the infield.

Do you know the basic rules of baseball? Here’s a couple you might not know:

1. Each team gets three outs per inning.
2. You can pinch hit for a batter.
