I think Tim Tebow has terrible mechanics. Tim Tebow is a much better QB than me. I don't see the problem.
He's also a much better QB than the numerous sports writers who also think he has terrible mechanics.

Tim Tebow thinks he has terrible mechanics, which is why he has hired people to make DRASTIC changes to his mechanics this offseason and when he came out of college.

He didn't lie. His mechanics are better than Tebow.
I don't give two shits about TT's NC or Heisman. He wasn't even the best player on his team. That would have been Percy Harvin,who was the real reason the Gators have two titles.

Winning the friggin Heisman doesn't really mean that Tebow was a good QB. Hell, Gino Toretta was just awful and yet won the Heisman. Danny Wuerfel wasn't anything but a product of the system at Florida which was ahead of its' time in the SEC and he won the Heisman.
Mett did not say anything that criticized the PLAY of Tebow. All he said was that his mechanics are not as bad as Tebow's. He is correct. Not only has Mett stated this but Tebow's mechanics have been widely discussed and criticized by virtually every sportswriter and many NFL coaches. It's a known fact that Tebow;s mechanics are some of the worst ever for anyone attempting to play QB in the NFL.
Mett stated the truth. However, I wish these young men would get it through their damn heads that they need to lay off the damn Twitter/Facebook crap. Damn.

Look, I love you as a fellow tiger, but you are off your rocker if you think Percy was the reason over Tebow.
Anyone not trying to stir shite up that has a football IQ over 50 would take Tebow on their team 100/100 times over Harvey. He wasa better teammate, better leader, better overall player than Harvin in the college game.

Our pass defense gave up over 700 yards in our last two games.
It was fricking sad how weak we looked trying to defend the pass at the end of the season.
Many want to just look at the offense in the bowl game and the Arkansas games, but our pass defense in both games sucked big time.

We can agree to disagree. I assure you I have an IQ above 50 and I wasn't shite stirring, the OP was do that with his thread.
Go back and look at the games and tell me who made the really big plays when UF needed them. It was Harvin. Look what happened the year after Harvin left. The entire team was back and Tebow was almost pedestrian in '09.
The D won them the title in 2006. They lost 4 games in '07 (Heisman year) and Harvin was a hoss.
BTW, who still has an NFL career?
I wasn't arguing that Tebow isn't a better person or leader. I am talking pure football.
