Glad to see that there are at least a few people with some sense on this board.

Geaux,TM, good post. Well said.

Thanks...but I'm pretty busted up about the whole thing. I have no desire to bad mouth Les Miles...first because I like the man personally and everything I've seen and heard about him makes me think he's a good guy and has never really be embraced by a good portion of LSU fans, and that's too bad.

But secondly because he's LSU'c head coach, and badmouthing him, whether warranted or not, does nothing but further endanger the program we all say we love. I realize that one of the best ways to force change from the AD is to voice displease and by speaking with our wallets...but does not doing that ALSO become a self fulfilling prophecy? Who can we come on here and call our coach out as an idiot and THEN turn around and suggest that he can't recruit if/when this year's class begin to bail on their commitments?

Like I said...I wish I could say that after saturday I still felt Miles was the guy...but I just don't. Not sure where to go from here or how to accomplish it with as little bloodshed as possible to the program.

If this is your concern I understand it. We really took it in the teeth this week (thanks to that no talent arse clown Cauble) because the national media just runs with whatever the local media feeds them. It was hard to watch.

But honestly, no one is going to be talking about this in 3 days. It will be forgotten everywhere except in BR. That is the nature of the "media" today. They beat a story to death for a week and then it's over.

Heard anything about Spikes' eye gouge lately? Belichick's decision to go for it on 4th down?

This too shall pass.

I feel about 98% the way you to. I've gone too far and long supporting him,so even though this was a meltdown of epic proportions with multiple events in a short time frame ,I'm still with him-- just not with as much zeal and passion as I once was,nor am I going to go out of my way to defend him, unless its just something stupid and insane.

I do feel somewhat betrayed.

this story as a national story will die down, obviously

however, les miles' failure in big games the past 2 years, and our november slide, is going to come up every big game next year

Don't have transcript in front of me. About the delay in calling timeout after the third down, He said something to the fact of "I don't know if I called a time out or not" He seemed very apologetic, but still lost as hell two days later.

that and miles said it takes 12 seconds to get the FG unit out, and he had more than twice that

he just said he didn't believe we had almost 30 seconds, when we did

He didn't throw anyone under the bus during that PC. He was, however, somewhat incoherent at times (when you actually watched it). The real problem is that the stupid calls and "freshman" mistakes this team has and keeps making have finally come to a head. Many people will not give him one ounce of slack from this point forward.

His QB doesn't understand the game and greatly limits the offense.

Agreed, until LSU beats Bama,OM,and Arky, this will come up. If LSU gets improved QB play, they can win all three next year.

Do you really think that LSU will contend for the SEC or national championship next year with the poor offense and poor defense they have. The offense in last in the SEC and OLE MISS had more than 400 yards total offense against LSU. I dont see anything that points to a better product on the field next year. I expect LSU to go 7-4 or 6-5 next year as their schedule will actually be a little harder and they lose quite a bit of seniors this year. With a bit of offense this year and a few breaks with better game management, they could be playing in Atlanta for SEC chamionship. I don't see LSU any better next year than this year.

I read all the comments yesterday about the press conference, how you can't understand anything he says, how he threw everyone under the bus, didn't take responsibility blah blah blah.

Seriously???? I just had a chance to read the transcript, and I'd be happy to explain anything to you tards that you didn't understand. Please, post something that didn't make sense to you.

And also post something that indicates that he is throwing someone under the bus at any point.

I will say this about the PC. It was unbearable to listen too. I don't think a transcript captures all the uhmms and aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas that were going on in that presser. I'm sure the transcript was easier without all that.

Piccalo player, you want me off the board, then let's meet and discuss it. Swap QBs in the three games LSU lost and Tigers win.
JJ can't read defenses, progressions,or understand situations. I'm hoping he improves with time. How bad was the offenses with Flynn,Russell, and Lee at QB?
Same HC and Oc yet few delay of game penalties and good offensive production.
Once again,we can meet and discuss if you wish.
