Had we not given Orgeron that ridiculous buyout we could just replace him with Aranda

I don't know. I am kind of in the mindset that Aranda doesn't necessarily want a HC position. Like Ensminger doesn't really want OC.

At this point though, I'd be fine with asking Aranda what he wants. If he just wants to be DC, give him a raise and hire Canada as HC. IDGAF. IF he wants HC. Fine. It's yours. No buyout. Will re-evaluate after 1 year.
