Not certain but I believe LSU matched up with Utah recently.

No, according to 357 if they finish in at least 2nd tomorrow they will advance to Nationals.

He said earlier if LSU finished in at least 2nd place both nights they would advance to Nationals. They were 1st tonight so I don't know if it changes what is needed for tomorrow.

He was at the match so may not post for a while.

LSU just has to finish top 2 tomorrow, if they do they advance. Any team outside the top 2 will be eliminated tomorrow

Do we have a high confidence level of this happening. Like LSU would have to totally drop the ball for it to not happen?

Or our we chewing fingernails during the matches tomorrow?

Only issues right now appear to be Finnegan's flu and Priessman being out with arm injury. Finnegan threw down some good scores tonight, so I think we're ok.

If they have hit their routines and not have multiple falls they will be fine

LSU would have to help the other competitors out to not advance. Tonight wasn't even our cleanest meet at all so I would feel pretty good about tomorrow. LSU's rotation is different tomorrow though.

LSU and Utah on paper theoretically are pretty far ahead of the other competitors but its gymnastics. People can fall or get a bad bounce off the floor and its over.

Pretty sure her parents were there too. I couldn't even imagine. Gymnastics can be a scary sport. Its very easy for stuff like that to happen. Don't get the correct bounce off the floor, a lot of gruesome things can happen.

But that is why they train a ridiculous amount of time in the gym for years and with all the safety equipment
