I remember around 2012 when every gymnastics thread on here was about firing DD for not making the Super Six (when she did exactly that in 2008 and 2009) with comments of "she's been here 30+ years with no national or SEC championships. Let's fire her!!!" Or it was the typical "it's gymnastics who cares."

We really enjoyed watching last night. College gymnastics has really come a long way. The girls don't seem to pout, act spoiled, worried about getting hurt, or have grade or legal issues to worry about. REFRESHING

Was great to see them “flush” the two falls and just get back after it. A fall tends to permeate into other’s routines because they start thinking about it. The way they finished beam and floor was beautiful.
