The 2015 team had great star power but did not seem to have the leadership that was able to forge bonds with the younger gymnasts. With a couple of early stumbles they wre done.

The last two seasons Bugs, Sydney and Shae did a tremendous job of focusing the young ones and having them live in the moment. Remember 2016 when they started slow and were virtually left for dead. Yet they rallied on floor which set up the final rotation on vault. With one incredible effort after another through the rotation they stuck landing after landing and came within a hair of taking home the national title. Oklahoma held on with their bread and butter floor and got the score they needed, but what an effort to pick themselves up and not give up.

Myia, Finnegan and Priessman exert the same leadership on this year's team and look how the freshmen have come through. Think back to the Kentucky meet this year when there were a couple of glitches on bar, their confidence was sinking and the outcome was in doubt. It was up to Lexie and Sarah to right the ship and they had back to back 9.95 s to close it out. This team has not looked back since.

Its never a given for any team and hopefully this year it all falls right for them and the other teams have to deal with some adversity.

Late, but I love this rotation order for the Tigers. Ending on their strongest event, where scores tend to fly!
