How are the semi's seeded? By national rank?

Florida was not at home. They didn’t host.

My bad. I should know better than trust ESPN.

I honestly forgot how they did the seeding unless they just use the team regional score to break it up

Are nationals and super 6 the same thing? I'm obviously not gymnastics literate here.

There are two semi finals with 6 teams in each semi

Top 3 teams from each semi advance to "Super Six"

Super Six is where the winner is crowned champion

Individual champions are named in the semi final round

Not that it matters that much, but it would be nice to hold the 1 seed in the semi's. Either way, UCLA is breathing down our necks.

UCLA's team received a team deduction LOL

No idea what happened

Just from knowing them either Coach Val went bonkers or the team was deducted for inappropriate behavior on the sideline

The top two teams from the three regionals on the left side of the bracket go to one of the semifinals and the top two teams from the regionals on the right side go to the other. I don’t think there is any actual official seeding. Rotation order, I believe but could be wrong, depends on which regional you came out of and how you placed in that regional (1 or 2). I could be wrong but I think that’s how it was done last year.

This year’s bracket here

Yea its a little bit confusing how they determine it

The rotation orders at nationals is done by random draw

Like regional all #1 seeds started on floor

Utah finishes with a 197.425

UCLA finishes with a 197.650

Alabama finishes with a 197.225

Florida finishes with a 197.725

OU finishes with a 198.000

So it appears that LSU has the highest regional score on their side of the bracket. OU and Florida are on the other side.

LSU will compete at noon April 20 in Semi Final- Session

Will be televised on ESPN2

1. LSU
2. UCLA
3. Alabama
4. Nebraska
5. Georgia
6. Arkansas

These are the 6 teams, I just didn't rank them

I could be wrong but this is how the bracket is set up

Well it appears it goes by national rankings, except for Georgia and Arkansas, where perhaps Georgia gets the nod by beating Michigan and taking their slot?

Do you know what their rotation order will be? If they advance, what would be their rotation order for Super Six?

I'm still in shock that Michigan dropped the ball

If they do it like regional the #1 seed will start on floor.

LSU would be the #1 seed in their semi final so we would likely start on floor.

Not 100% sure this is the part that confuses me

Where can I find which teams are in the other bracket? I can't find results anywhere. Other than Michigan, were there any other surprises?

I’m not at all. They tend to do this often. I had Alabama and Georgia coming out of that regional.
