According to Glenn "LSU may have it's fewest players drafted into the NFL since 2000."
He thinks LSU will only have 2 players drafted??
What an idiot, must be having too good a time in Mobile to do any thinking before he writes. I'm thinking we'll have more like 7...

HE's not the 1st/2nd round prospect he had the potential of being before this season but he's still getting picked up easily in the mid-late rounds no doubt.

I didn't read the article, but considering we only have like 9 seniors, that wouldn't be surprising.
I see 4 getting drafted. PP, Nevis, Sheppard, and Barksdale.
ETA: Yeah, Toliver, too. Guilbeau can't help himself. Even when he makes a point, it's dull.

I don't even understand why he said the "last time LSU has had two players drafted" line. Just because there are only two at the senior bowl now?

teams with a clear need for a kicker might take a chance on him since teams likely won't be able to sign rookie free agents this yr.

well as far as kickers being drafted, only 40 total have been drafted since 1990, and none were drafted last year. i'd expect jasper to be an udfa. kickers are not high priority for teams in the draft and can easily be found in free agency, so unless someone REALLY needs a kicker or doesn't have a need somewhere else in the 6-7 round, don't expect jasper to be drafted. no knock on him, but kickers are not generally a valued commodity in the draft.

He might be on to something. Only two will get drafted in the first round this year. The other 4/5 will have to wait until day two.

I read that yesterday and it was really a poorly written article even by GG standards. he was assuming Drake wouldn't get drafted b/c he pulled out of the senior bowl and completely ignored the other players likely to be drafted to get to OMG THE WURST LSU DRAFT SINCE 2K!!!!!@12!! he really tried hard to report some bad news so A for effort I guess
