Guileau is absolutely right. Miles lacks character and he's a quitter.

One thing is for sure, it's easy to see who the butthurt posters are that don't have leg to stand on anymore defending the worst qb to ever play at LSU .
Carry on 7th ward and twoody.

Amazing, isn't it?
The Glenn Guilbeau style of journalism is to read message boards, pick up on what 40-50 no-lifes who post over and over are screaming about, then write an article to try and get some hits.
Bobby Hebert, in his quest to avoid low ratings and irrelevance, does the same thing.
Hey, in that sense, the rantards control the flow of news.
I guess they should be happy.

“It was my decision to keep Jefferson in there,” Miles said. “The reason was they were teeing off and I wanted a guy who had the ability to move his feet.”
How about putting someone in who can make quick decisions and get rid of the fricking ball? As someone said the other day, how many sacks does it take for him to become a not mobile qb.

Miles and Jefferson reminds me of Haslett and Brooks.
We shouldn't be surprised.

Imagine that Jeffersawg posters defending Miles.
You guys got your way, and LSU was embarrassed like no other team in BCS bowl history.
Guess what? Your opinion the rest of LSU fans means nothing. Because you have no clue. You, like Miles, chose a player over a team, and for that you will be forever derided.

I whistle daily.
Once again pal don't live mad.
Jj is gone, you'll be ok about it eventually.
Everyone else is.

I completely agree with Guilbeau here. As good of a guy as Les Miles is his constant lying and needless decption is wearing away his supposed good character. He may be nice and fun to be around but I think he's become less trustworthy than Saban. At least you know Saban will tell it like it is. (future coaching opportunites notwithstanding, lol!) Miles' average/poor game day coaching was also exposed on Monday. His stubborness and love affair with JJ cost this team a national championship.

Lee was never the starter anyway. We all knew that JJ was the starter. Other than 08, he was a career back up. Its that simple. The coaches felt more comfortable with Jefferson in at QB.
and they were wrong despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. that's the point.

This is where I disagree. The only person he owes anything to is Lee. He owes the fans nothing. He will incur a lot of anger though without some explanation. That's his choice though
actually he doesnt owe shyt to Lee either, some of you guys perception is totally off, JJ was a piece of shyt in that game, he should have went to Lee, but he is not the angel you think he is.
be glad both are gone.

Guilbuau plays LSU fans likes puppets. It's hilarious to watch. Did you ever think he is just trying to patch up the holes from his prediction?

For a sneak preview, here's my prediction: LSU 17, Alabama 13. Jarrett Lee comes off the bench to spark Tigers.

Here is the apology. I would imagine any apology to Lee's family would be private, but this is a start:
"I told my team that I did not see it coming, and I think that's my fault," said Miles. "I wish I could've done something to help them.
"For the players to put themselves in a position to win a game like that," he continued, "to them I owe a lot. We have to do better."
