You're a little late to the German party on this one.

Lol, those rushing grades don’t take into account the opportunity costs of not seeing the 80 yard TD pass he missed out on by scrambling for 13 yards.

Edit: I’m not hating on JD. I hope he gets better. We need him to get better to win bigger games. But let’s not celebrate the rushing stats like he’s Lamar Jackson until he learns to push the ball downfield a little more.

Too bad he’s a QB. I’d rather him find the open WR’s he has running around all game. But hey, it all looks great for now. Get ready when better SEC defenses shut his legs down.

Thank you! In the big games down the stretch, we are going to need him to go through his progressions and find the open receivers. People want to brag at his rushing stats but ignore the fact that his passing stats are at the bottom of the pack……in a team stacked with WR talent. I like Daniels but I do not get the love affair some people have for him.

It's not a love affair. It is what it is. I can name many times he has missed wide open receivers. With most QB's it would be the death nail but what he lacks in field vision he makes up with his legs. I agree he needs to get better at trusting the system and going through his progressions better but the bottom line is we can win with what he does now. I also would like for him to hit those receivers not just to stop their frustration but also to maintain his health. You could see he was taking a beating on some of those runs. Either he will progress and this team will become a top 15 team or he won't and we will be a top 25-30 team as our defense is becoming a force and will help carry this team.

Which play was that, exactly? Give us an example of that please and maybe link a video clip or gif.

The way you phrased it, you kinda were, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that your phrasing was unintentional.

It's hard to argue those points.

I don't think most are doing that. I hate the Michael vick comparisons, too. At least not now. If he gets better at throwing to a spot or when his receiver is coming open rather than wide open. He is late on a lot of his throws that end up incomplete.
