Guess who had the audacity to use an image of Devin White to announce the LSU final score

Southeastern Conference
@SEC

.@LSUfootball tops Mississippi State on Homecoming!

.@LSUfootball tops Mississippi State on Homecoming!

And they are getting their arse tore up. There is even a youth pastor calling for someone to be fired.

quote:

I guess it takes Alabama players to come out and stab someone before they get ejected ????

quote:

You should be ashamed of yourselves. #FreeDevinWhite #LSU

quote:

When are you going to do the right thing and reverse the call against Devin White? Oh, and stop having two sets of rules... one for Alabama and one for everyone else? Stop cheating for Alabama. Do the right thing and let White play

quote:

And your refs blew a major call and you don’t have the integrity to fix it

quote:

Such a crap call against 40. Yet, Alabama makes punches dudes and knocks a dude out of the game... nothing.

AND many, many more.

This is a good one from another tweet:

quote:

Ref on phone during "review": Nick, you know how Tua's knee has been hurting lately? Want me to make sure it won't be next game?
Saban: Make the call. And don't ever call me Nick again.
Ref: Yes sir, your Highness

#Free Devin White

All of this publicity over the next two weeks may actually be a godsend for the actual LSU/Bama game. The refs will hopefully feel that they will be severely scrutinized if they make obvious biased calls.

Not satisfied until I see real pressure from the athletic department.

Hands to the chest is not targeting.

They probably did it just to get you all riled up. Looks like it worked.

And for the record, I thought it was a terrible call.

There is hope.

From Ross Dellenger:

quote:

#LSU AD Joe Alleva contacted the league office immediately after the game Saturday in reference to the targeting call against Devin White. He has expressed his displeasure and is fighting against the ruling.

A reminder, there is no league appeals process for this.

This is in that same tweet string and gives a glimmer of hope:

This was 3 tweets by the same person:
quote:

"If a player is disqualified in the second half, the conference has the option to consult the national coordinator of football officials who would then facilitate a video review. Based on the review, if the national coordinator concludes the player should not have been...

....disqualified, the conference may vacate the suspension. If the national coordinator supports the disqualification, the suspension for the next game would remain."

So, there ABSOLUTELY IS an appeals process in place

This is the fourth tweet by them and unfortunately kinda numbs the feeling of hope quite a bit:
quote:

The National Director of Football Officials (i.e. the individual with the fate of Devin White’s in his hands) is Rogers Redding.

Rogers Redding also happens to have been the Director of SEC Officials who corruptly blessed the fraud perpetrated upon PP7’s INT.

Great.

Refs' won't make any calls now. It will be open season on QBs. They will be totally gunshy now.

I love it because it ramps up the hatred to another level. Makes it extra spicy come gametime. I like seeing Bama and LSU fans at each other's throats in the two weeks leading up to the game.

At least there isn’t some hope going on behind the scenes. Is it true Ritter is the head of replay? If so, of course it didn’t get reversed. Hate that dude

Thanks for all you do Ree.

I've been negative towards Alleva, this will go a long way to heal wounds if he can get White free.
