Being that many LSU fans were willing to double their kids college tuition in order to get Fisher or Herman, I thought it was interesting. You really think coaches salaries come from tuition? You seriously can’t be that clueless. Can you?

It may not be how it works, but the point being, it's what fans would be willing to give, almost anything. Am I right? For two overrated asssholes

Yea...much rather have a DL coach that no one wanted as a coordinator, let alone a HC...than a NC winning HC who knows the Louisiana landscape.

Jimbo has a sloppy desk so he’s overrated? Got it.

I don’t know about his desk but that guy reeled in 5* prospects and was pretty meh in a conference with only 3-4 quality teams in it. The middle to bottom of that conference is very week and Jimbo still managed to lose 10 conference games in his last two and half years there. People think last year was an anomaly but he gave up 63 to Louisville the year prior (same season the Orgeron and Ensminger interim road show spanked Louisville) and his team packed it in during the end of the year two seasons ago,

Miles won more than that but fizzled at the end, too.

I’ll be very surprised if he does much of anything at a&m, I don’t see him ever being worth of $75MM.

ETA: What am I saying? Jimbo fizzled waaay more than Miles.

Go look at the University of Alabama enrollment and overall financial well-being of the university since Saban started coaching there. Happening at Clemson currently. Meanwhile LSU, which is struggling in all aspects, has the opportunity to make a hire that would do the same. What do they do? Play the victim and hire bargain bin.

Jimbos last year at FSU was a dumpster fire of a season.
IDK as much about Herman.

Herman was my choice. After he and Fisher turned us down, anyone else was going to be a fallback.

Same coaches also likely have Orgeron as the worst hire in the country

For comparison, TAMU can give the same contract to every one of their janitorial staff and be in better financial shape than LSU.

Does this really make you feel better about O?

Do you think he’s organized and that he runs a disciplined program?

I remember when you could come to tigerdroppings and have conversation on a topic. Now every topic about any coaches, our crappy fans have to bash O. Damm shame. I could really care less who’s coach but this is so out of control

This was clearly a thread on coaches. You can tell by the title of the thread. If you didnt want to read conversation about coaches, then why click on the thread. Take some responsibility and don’t act like a victim.
