Can we stop with the Adam Miller apologetics?
KJ- 42.9% from three
Cam- 36.5% from three

The truth is even in a lesser role at Illinois, Miller only shot 30% from three in league play. The dude is just simply not a good shooter. I will admit he takes difficult shots whether from his own doing or the defense, but he still misses a lot of open shots.

I’m not denying that either. But can you seriously expect someone to compete in the SEC when he inherited a roster with ZERO players and had the potential death penalty looming over the program?? Be real. Some people on here are straight up delusional expecting MM to pull a miracle out of thin air.

No, but I expect him to be able to bring in recruits/transfers that at least show the potential for improvement. He hasn’t. In today’s college sports you can rebuild a program quickly. See Brian Kelly who came in with 39 scholarship football players and won the west in year one.

And MBB is not getting the death penalty, they won’t even get scholarship reductions or they would’ve already self-sanctioned. Do you even know how this works?

I’d even bet Will Wade doesn’t get a show cause at this point. If Wade doesn’t get hammered, this place will rightfully go nuclear.

If this is true why can’t they get any minutes on this terrible team?

You’d best hope so, or he will be suing the shite out of LSU.

I think the big boys got what they wanted (how dare LSU challenge our precious blue blood MBB schools), and Wade won’t be hit with anything. Look out if that happens.

Nope, he could be terminated if we received NOA with Level One allegations....we did.

Well I hope you’re happy with LSU MBB returning to dumpster fire status, bc MM isn’t reviving this program even if you give him 10 years.

At least we have Mulkey, Kelly and Johnson to be excited about.

He had to put a rag tag group together in a short time span. He walked into a big mess, and no proven head coach was taking the job with the possible sanctions we were facing. This was before NIL, where anything goes now.

You really think NIL is gonna bring great recruits to LSU MBB when they can get the same or more to go to Kansas, Bama, TN, etc? Lol

MM was a dud hire, and if Scott knew he wasn’t gonna get a proven coach due to the situation, he should have just ridden it out with WW.

This is worse than sanctions.

You are not comparing basketball to football lmao. You seriously cannot compare 39 scholarship players on a team that clearly was only doing bad due to coaching to a team with ZERO PLAYERS that lost an icon of a coach. That’s ridiculous.

And I didn’t say MBB is going to get the death penalty, I said it was a possibility at the time. Clearly things have worked out in our favor due to us firing WW. (At least in terms of sanctions)

So let’s talk WBB. Kim turned it around immediately. It’s extremely hypocritical to say MM needs years to do so.

Jalen was literally a starter at one point in time and has been a key rotation player all year. Ward has been getting more minutes recently.

I think they deserve more minutes and have been getting them. If you want my honest opinion, I think WW didn’t give them minutes because he wanted to play his guys from Murray St over them, regardless of ability.

Didn't say NIL was going to turn it around, the portal will be more important than NIL. But NIL is a tool. The fact is, LA home grown talent is the best option. Looked pretty thin this year.

You’re literally delusional. KM didn’t inherit a program with ZERO players and looming punishments.

She also coached an elite Baylor program that enabled her to have more talent coming into her first season. You’re trying to act like the “rebuilding” that BK and KM did is anything close to what MM is going through now when it clearly isn’t.

Be real and recognize how unreasonable you sound.

I have written this season off already. It matters not to me whose fault this season is.

I will make my judgments next season when I see what our roster is and how they play in the first 15-20 games.

I know that SW will not fire CMM until he has three complete seasons and there is no light at the end of the tunnel.

Reed hasn’t started in what, two months?

Not really a glaring endorsement.
