And Tennessee has lost 2 of 3 series to worse teams than we lost to and we've only lost one series. They both have a natty and they both have been in the cws multiple times ,Johnson did it at two different schools.

All of he sec coaches that are running great programs are doing. They are going after the same kids in high school in their area and then going after the highest nationally ranked players. Then they do the same thing in the portal, all of the best programs are then going after the same kids in the portal. Then when it's time to play ball after constructing a roster ,they just let analytics make all of their decisions for them

The difference between being first in the sec or fifth in the sec is just whether or not your highly sought after recruits and transfers happen to develop or if the small school portal players can handle the sec competition .
Sometimes it comes down to how good the high school players in your region are compared to the similarly rated high school players in other big time programs are.

I meant to say we only got swept in one series.
I wasn't really counting Texas because that's not a bad series against them . We won one game and led in the other games at some point..game 2 could have been a win if we went to Evans but we just hadn't quite figured out who we could count on yet.

Basically my point is that they have two bad series on their resume and we have one bad series on ours. Our losses were on the road too , unlike Tennessee this past weekend
