So you don't think anything happened before that?

This keeps being brought up.

Again, go to 10 second mark in vid. No one is asking what happened to the sucker punched guy before Hill sucker punches him.

Some guy knocks victim silly.
Vic gets up, and is still looking at the guy who was in front of him.
Hill runs up 10 yards from behind.
Stands at his 9 oclock.
Suckerpunch/Hail mary without any chance to defend.
---------proud as hell of what he did after his buddy elbows him in back of head....with LSU gear.

If he was the guy who faced up with him in the first three seconds of vid;no one would be this disgusted with him. It would have simply been a one on one AT THAT POINT.....where SIMPLE BATTERY would suffice. But the video shows that Hill used cowardly and stupid judgment, for which, I ( and a lot of others) are willing to choose what's right, over a thousand yard season.

I think it's enough bad judgment to get kicked off the team, when Miles sees him run from behind and hit a guy that's already engaged with someone else.

I've (well....we've) seen enough of this kind of fighting in college to know that if you replaced hill with any non-football player, you'd be calling that guy a coward.
Purple and Gold glasses off, please. It's just embarrassing.

Yes hill came up on his blindside, hit him, and celebrated what we don't see is what went on before the incident outside.

Did hill try to leave only to be followed by the aggressor, did the aggressor antagonize him, or was hill just being a thug?

No one cares what happened before Hill comes in b/c they don't know who these guys are. The people on here against Hill would find the wrong no matter how he was involved. It was simple battery. Stop wishing for something else like this Doyel punk is,

Thanks for posting this Brag so I knew not to give that hack sensationalist a hit on his pos blog.

I've said his behavior celebrating after the KO shot was troubling, but calling him a violent predator is borderline defamatory.

frick that guy.

How would that even be a theory? They were a parking lot's length away from each other.

I don't think he's a violent predator by no means, but the P&G glasses in here are evident.

There is very little evidence to call Hill a "predator". He has two misdemeanor convictions. That's hardly a "predator", by any stretch of the word.

he ran the victim down(preyed) and punched him(violence). Seems to fit the bill to me.

Men that take advantage of underage women are routinely call "predators".

Is their some stipulation that I am not aware of that prevents misdemeanor criminals from being labeled predators ?

quote:

Miles has consistently suspended or dismissed players who have acted out of line. There is almost no evidence that Miles runs a "lawless" program or that he turns a blind eye to his players offenses.

He has showed favoritism to his upper echelon players (RP, JJ, TM7, Hill potentially) in comparison to the lesser players (Kyle Anderson, Zhmmal thomas, Troy Giddens, Derrick Odom).

quote:

Miles is the only coach in the history of college football to throw a Heisman finalist off his team without that player having a single arrest. The only one. It's absolutely false to suggest Miles has no interest in the "right thing", and he's shown a very active interest in it.

TM7 failed over 10 drug tests while at LSU.

So no telling how many chances he actually got.

So don't glorify Miles for that.

quote:

Not really. I'm not afraid of Hill. Do you think he's a danger to society? Honestly? I wouldn't want him dating my daughter, but I also don't think he's Capone or anything.

at what point would you think he becomes a danger to society?

What if there is a next time, and this becomes an established pattern(if its not already)? Then what?

Ever been a CEO of a company? How do you explain that if something happens again?

You certainly can't say "well, I never saw that coming!".

quote:

It was an f'n bar fight. Whatever. The number of people in a bar fight number in the millions. I would not say millions of people preyed on people violently. In fact, given the video, it seems we catch the middle of the fight. We have absolutely no idea... NONE.. who started it and why. More importantly, neither does Doyel

That's not a bar fight. It was a cheap shot by a 230 man that could have been truly bad. His weak effort is his only saving grace here.

The intent is what really matters. If he knocks the guy clean out and he hits his head and causes serious damage, then what? It's certainly not just a "fight". A fight is where 2 people knowingly engage in an altercation. Not when someone runs up behind you and blindsides you.

And had it been more serious, you certainly wouldnt be hesitating from calling him an animal, or a predator, IMO. Just be thankful he can't punch as well as he can run the football. Because that is not what I call a bar fight.

quote:

It is possible Doyel's reading is true, but it is certainly not actually proven by the facts we know.

Just because people do not agree with his opinion, does not give you the right to say he has made things up. He has all his facts straight.

LSU football is bigger, better and more important than any player, any win count or any championship. Hill shouldn't be on the team this year.

Why? Because of one punch in a bar fight with a clown provoking him?

You're certainly stretching the definition of predator but whatever, your mind is made up on Hill.

I thought it was a mistake to recruit Hill. I don't think his troubles are behind him. He has had 2 strikes now, but he still has a chance to make ammends.

No, because he committed rape before he even committed.

The troubling thing about Hill is he saw what Jefferson, Ware, Tyrann and others had done but he didn't learn anything except he thought that it must be OK because Miles let them back on the team.Hill has already had a second chance.Make an example of him and send a message that LSU will not tolerate more than one chance.Time to let Hill join Cecil Collins because he has already had his second chance.
