Greg Heiar: do you think this guy could make a good head coach

He receives praise from all around the country and has help many other coaches reach great heights.

When he was at Wichita St. they were pretty damn good. Don't think they've been as good since he's left. He seems like a really good coach.

He should be the interim head coach right now and given consideration for head coach if Wade is fired.

I agree. Would have preferred to see heiar get a shot if anyone. It is what it is.

I honestly think he is not the interim coach right now only because he would have to deal with the media side. From what I understand he is the main X’s and O’s guy while Benford is dealing with the media and maintaining the offense.

If Wade is let go, this is my first choice. Proven winner and knows his basketball

Heiar is a really good coach. He will get a head job one day soon!

He’s kinda low-key basketball’s Dave Aranda.

I saw him last week at the Murphy’s on the corner of Lee and Burbank. Seemed like a nice guy.

He would likely have o prove his head coaching credentials at a lower level school.

Four employees leave LSU over state law dispute
Careful. Two high up administrators at LSU just got canned for this.

If wade is gone, then heiar should be the guy

I see him like Eric Musselman on Jones’ staff. Look at what EM has done at Nevada. I’d take him. Haier would get a look imo

His juco resume was great in the panhandle conference. Ties still run deep there and he’s great x’s and o’s And talent evaluator

He’s kinda dull and not very good in front of the camera.
Unlike Benford.
That’s probably the reason Benford got the “interim” tag.
No other reason I can think of.

We know Bedford is not a good Head Coach. Greg Heiar might be a good coach given the chance. If those are the 2 choices, Heiar is the guy I would want to give a shot.
Before I am downvoted to oblivion, I hope we are able to keep Wade above all else.

Greg Heiar would be an excellent coach. Benford, however, would be much better.
