No it's a fricked up money grab IMO. NO way Kelly ignored the situation.

I tend to agree, if so he wouldn’t had came out so strong on his response. He could have just said its pending litigation, we love Greg and pray for his speedy recovery and no further comment, or something along those lines.

If you go to the ER with these symptoms, the first thing they do is a CT scan of your brain
Is this really the case? I'm not a doctor but I feel like if I went to the ER and said I threw up and was dizzy, all I'd get is a 12 hour wait in the waiting room, some IV fluids and an overpriced zofran charged to my insurance. That seems like something they'd tell you to follow up with your PCP about and if treating vertigo made you feel better, like it did for Greg, they'd consider it solved for the time being

My guess is the medical staff didn’t factor in worst case right away and excused the symptoms as possible exhaustion. I hope they didn’t think concussion because that should have brought on imaging as well.
Is this really the case?

Most people probably wouldn’t even see a doctor ‘til day 40 or so after symptoms.
Speaking of ignorant statements … I don’t know a single person that would wait 40 days to see a doctor if they were experiencing symptoms of vertigo. I went through that and I was on the phone for an appointment that same day.

You speak of ignorant statements then go on to say you had vertigo, a condition that Greg Brooks didn’t have. I didn’t say someone who had vertigo wouldn’t get checked out right away did I?

“Symptoms of vertigo” does not equate to “having vertigo”. Reading comprehension obviously isn’t a prerequisite for this board.

So you saying “I went through that” doesn’t imply you had vertigo? Forgive me.
Hopefully you recovered from your sinus infection or whatever it was that was so bad.

but I’m convinced the lack of urgency to treat her diminished her quality of life following the first surgery where they elected to be minimally invasive and not take more of the tumor.
The risk is being a vegetable if you’re too aggressive or other lesser issues like Greg is facing with strokes, etc. it the best surgeons and cancer treatments couldn’t give both of my friends longer, it is really hard to blame doctors. This is a dicey disease because many times the roots are deep and unseen. One of them made it 4 years to the day clean. Dead the next year. Just terrible.

Brian Kelly didn’t say that he was personally by Greg Brooks’ side through the entire ordeal.
Start with a lie then rebut the lie. Not a good look by the attorney.

It is 2025.
I don't know who your M.D. is but it's a rarity to get an appointment sooner than 90 days out. Also most insurance plans require a referral to a specialist.
So call for an appointment all you want but the above is the norm.
GBJr was fast tracked through to his surgery

Horrible situation, with no winners

But Kelly didn’t say that yesterday. He said he was “by Greg’s side throughout this ordeal.” Why didn’t he say “I was by Greg’s side until our legal team instructed me not to”? I still haven’t seen an explanation for this.
Still waiting…
I’m persuadable. Someone make it make sense

Here is the exact quote:

And you conveniently left out the next part:
quote:
“I was there on multiple occasions, and someone from our staff was there virtually every single day.”
So again, Brian Kelly did not say that he was personally at Greg Brooks’ side every day. The lawyer is misrepresenting what Kelly actually said.

Really?
“It is factually incorrect to state I was not there by Greg’s side through this ordeal. “
I mean it’s pretty black and white.

Wonder if all this is worth being a head coach making 10 million a year. I had to ask myself that question; finally retired in December; life is good.
